Trucks were last week on a Friday (you know, Allstar race and all that jazz).

Ah, yes.

We didn't have the burnout contest this year? Or did I miss it? The reason that was a bust is because of the weak engines in the cars used.

Not sure if they didn't do the Burnout competition (didn't see as much of the festivities this time around). I know for a fact they didn't do the pit stop competition this year.

Wow, that's dark going from sun to shade.

Picks: 18, 20, and of course the 48.

And more beer...

Oh look PIP

Caution for a threatening piece of hot dog wrapper.

I've seen those monsters blow up an engine before...my gosh was it scary. :scared::nervous:

Thank you Nascar for saving the day in a race that surely needs cautions for such things. I mean it isn't like they are running 600 miles or anything...

To be honest, cautions over pieces of paper are reasonable. The paper can get on a car's grille and make them overheat, posing a risk that the engine can blow.

Honestly the 43 is run because Petty wants it to be, that's the only reason. It wouldn't be used by someone else other than that team if he does pass which I have a feeling when he does things will change with the number being used.

The 3 falls in the same boat or even more so, it might be used but chances are highly unlikely I think just because it's more Dale's number. It's just one of those things that yes we need to move on past the death but let's not let someone take over that number either.

I'm not really a fan of Dale but his number should be only used by him.

Sorry to bring this up again. I don't agree with retiring numbers in sports. Honoring the driver/athlete is perfectly fine, but retiring a number is only going to cause problems later on when they slowly run out of numbers.

Richard Petty was asked if he wanted his number retired, he told them the number belonged on the track and that it should in no way be retired ever.

The Coca Cola 600 under yellow for a Coca Cola bottle.

Saw that as well  you can't script some of this

Wow a two liter coca cola causing the caution?

Was it really a two litter it looked like a partially drunken 20 oz or 1L bottle...Oh look at us, talking about the debris. Do you see this Nascar, do you see what you are making your fans do...:grumpy:

Cabling now the true culprit, poor Ambrose.

And a beer, and a cable. People throwing random things onto the track these days.

You have to question the person throwing the cable, was he trying to be a hero?

Red Baron pizza going in the oven, openings other beer.

Anyone else notice the Move controllers in that Coke/Walmart commercial? 👍

They should be using a drone for that camera. They could get all up in fans faces.

Apparently some cars got some damage from the cable. Ambrose and I heard Kyle Busch as well.

Just saw damage on Kyle's Car. Damn, what the hell is that made of?
