So Kasey Kahne gets criticized for not charging in hard enough to wreck Kenseth at Bristol, but Elliot get criticized for divebombing Grandbabby when there was a gap and a lane on the bottom?

I'm not defending Ty either, he cut across Chase's nose and did not give Chase a lane. Then again, NASCAR doesn't have strict blocking rules, nor race stewards.

My primary point is, the doofus in the 3 should have let Chase go when he was told to.

I've already deleted the race from my DVR, I thought Chase even locked up the tires in the same spot other trucks did in the braking zone? Maybe Chase thought Ty was giving way because Ty ran out of gas, so he took the tight line? Or did Chase just use the 3 as his brakes?

I don't pay attention to announcers, I'm afraid.. Mike Skeen?
Also, I imagine announcers are held to contract.

Skeen is basically a "driver for hire", and he's damn good at it too. Spends most of his time in the World Challenge.

That was a wee bit too much "Praise the Lord" just now.

Amen.

EDIT - I would love to see JPM win here tonight, and again next weekend at Richmond to steal the last wild card spot. It's too bad the spring Richmond race slipped away from him with that late caution.

Did anyone actually see the replay between Papis and Skeen?! Skeen intentionally dive-bombed into Papis on that last corner..... Full blame definitely looks like it's on Skeen.

You mean Gordon having a horrible restart causing a bottleneck?
How did Kenseth spin Gordon's tires for him?

And I embarrass myself for the millionth time here again.

The Cup race is going on at Atlanta, but I wanted to mention Mosport. The Mosport action was insane. The Trucks almost seemed like they were running Eldora the way they were sliding in the corners. It was still fun to watch. I just hated the race ended with that sort of divebomb move. I want to say Chase Elliott didn't mean to punt Ty Dillon off the track, but it almost seemed like Chase didn't even manage to check up or slow down in the final corner. Basically, he did what I would have done in a Gran Turismo race if I was trying to win a race I know I could have won or lead. Got to hand credit to Ty Dillon for fighting off Chase Elliott as much as he could even running on fumes.

Also, is "Mad Max" Papis the ladies' man or what? ;)

I said on Facebook about possibly if NASCAR can bring Nationwide and Cup to Mosport. Hey? Why not? That was a good race.

Jeff should be driving the "Drive to stir hunger" car. He's hungry for a win and it shows.

Dude's girlfriend better have a good lawyer and insurance.

182 laps in and they finally mentioned Danica.

Clint done blowed up yo!

(So incredibly hyped for Breaking Bad after this race!!!)
