Rumor has it that Brian France and Mike Helton are working on a new rule that disallows teammates from finishing 1-2 in back-to-back Chase races. This rule will be enforced retroactively and all JGR drivers will be fined and docked points for their performance today.

The double posts aren't necessary. There's an edit button for a reason.

Penske is claiming his team made no deals at Richmond. I'm somewhat inclined to believe it as there was no actual radio message from the 22 that discussed them wanting the 38 team to move aside for them.

But... it's not difficult for a team member to switch to a private communication method and discuss it with a spotter who would pass the message along to whoever they need to.

Nascar monitors all channels, even private ones.
 
I don't see Roger Penske stooping to such levels as to bribe Front Row to pit or park or let Joey go by or whatever.
I'm done with Richmond, people need to move on too. Just laugh at MWR and get ready for Truex to be in the 81 NAPA Toyota for JGR next season.

They've ran the 81 this season in Cup with Elliott Sadler in a race (Was going to run more but the gum Mars had put out that was going to sponsor the car ended up being pulled from the market due to the FDA finding what amounted to nuclear waste in it).

Ah, ok. I thought it may have been a number important to Truex. Martin driving for The Coach would be a good thing for both parties.

I love this thread. During the weekend it's about NASCAR. The rest of the time it's just us arguing about ICEYOU :lol:
 
Speaking of commercials, has anyone got the Farmers one from last year, where some guy basically sprays the contents of a fire extinguisher on Kasey Kahne? :p
 
Seeing that commercial reminded me, can we go back to having the Gillette Young Guns, because some of these young guys don't look right with facial hair.

Sad part is I knew he'd go back on it. Even worse I'll probably be leaving due to university work taking up all my time. Unless Junior does something amazing this up coming weekend and looks to be gaining steam I'll be around.

Other than that I feel Kenseth is going to run away with this.

Um no it wasn't. Those are called extenuating circumstances or unforeseeable events. You did lose but were redeemed due to an event beyond the control and thus given a second chance to "lose" or win as you'd like to think will happen.
