Tactically, having Webber box up Vettel means that Vettel is vulnerable to Hamilton, as they jockey behind him. Having the faster Red Bull in front means that Webber will have clear air to Vettel in front of him, which would make it easier to defend against Hamilton.

Not nice to ask for your teammate to be moved over, but understandable.
