Good news for Liverpool today, the city council has given them planning permission to expand Anfield from just under 46,000 to 58,000, no timescale on when it will be done though

Anyone hear about that Magath/Hangeland story??

Palace and Newcastle has gone to extra time, 2-2 in that one...

And it was all going so well for the first half @Famine
Yeah, that didn't really turn out quite as expected at half time.

Though to be entirely fair, it's about what was expected at kick off.

City did name quite a strong team as well..

I went to an Austrian FA Cup game in Vienna last night.

The minnows I went to support got thrashed 12-1 by Red Bull Salzburg.

Man United have nine players out injured and one suspension for the West Ham game, most of the injuries are defenders and Rojo is the only senior players that can play CB, LVG says youngsters will get their chance..

I agree that we've underperformed with the players we have but I still think we're really unlucky with the injuries we have started the season with. Who starts with like 10 injuries.

Super Saturday this week is going to be epic.

Can't recall starting a season with 10 injuries but, when Dortmund went through their rough patch last year, I think they had 12 or so injuries at the same time.

It's not as if they have their best 10 players injured, the 11 they have been able to field so far this season should still have won them the majority of their games.

So Paddy McNair and Tom Thorpe are going to be included in the United squad tomorrow as cbs. Should be interesting. So now will the media stop talking about how we don't give youth a chance?

Football this weekend, two big derbies tomorrow!

Saturday
Arsenal v Tottenham (5.30 Sky)
Chelsea v Aston Villa
Crystal Palace v Leicester
Hull v Man City
Liverpool v Everton (12.45 BT)
Man United v West Ham
Southampton v QPR
Sunderland v Swansea

Sunday

Monday Night

Missing tomorrows action because I'm in work for 8 hours :indiff:

Bit late but that was a cracking penalty shoot out between Liverpool and Middlesbrough! Got quite tense even as a neutral!

Man. United XI for todays match:

De Gea,
Rafael, McNair, Rojo, Shaw,
Blind, Herrera, Di Maria, Rooney,
van Persie, Falcao

Most likely in a 4-4-2 diamond formation.

DM costing us a game again, I've had it with Wenger.

Any fan would love to have a manager that had kept them near the top of the EPL for nearly 20 years, playing exciting football and on a relatively low budget, Arsenal fans are so quick to criticize Wenger.

That's the problem. Who isn't quick to turn after a couple of bad results.

Utd had a great pre season. Slow start with a load of new players and injuries and suddenly Van Gaal isn't good enough?

Newcastle. Pardew has been there years. He clearly is a good manager. Yet it's "Pardew Out".

More like Arsenal's failure to make chances.

Yes but Flamini's fault at a goal in a big game yet again (like at City).

His first 10 years were fantastic, lately though his tactics are incredibly poor and almost as frustrating as his transfer market actions. I think the game has evolved and Wenger has not.

I still don't think it cost Arsenal the game. Arsenal weren't even leading at the time.

I also think the commentators were harsh on Flamini, the pressure from Eriksen was immediate, as soon as Flamini turned he had Eriksen in front of him.

Rooney will now earn a 3 match ban for his straight red yesterday against West Ham. Even down 10 men, Man U still won 2-1.

Then he should not have turned, yes Arsenal were not leading nor creating anything but don't remember Tottenham creating anything before the goal, Tottenham were very average but yet again against a top side we fail to deliver.

Can't wait for the bashing next week.

Did you watch the first halve? Chadli and Adebayor missed sitters!

I only remember missing one or two half chances, don't take me wrong not taking away anything from Tottenham they well deserved a point, however this is the worst Tottenham side we faced in the last 3-4 years and if we even played at 2nd or 3rd gear we would have won easily.
