Very good pass by Salo, but equally good driving by Crick. This is shaping up for a cracking final hour.
 
How can you whinge about the adds? The Bathurst 1000 has 10 times the amount of adds, without exaggeration. The coverage and commentary has been awesome all day. Just need the speed channel to get off their arse and telecast the whole race
 
Max Buhk is no joke if you watch his GT racing the last 2 years, absolutely crazy.

ouch just saw the gtr crash. I started the race from teh beginning a couple hours ago so I'm behind.
 
Well, I started out not liking the 84 after they sideswiped the GTR, but they've been through a lot so if they can stay ahead they deserve a win.
 
Now, I just need an SLS to win. I counted the HTP out feom the start. Awesome racing. Cant wait to do a mini 12H after the telecast.

For anyone who's followed Australian GT racing for a long time, you'd know it's a bit strange to see Greg Crick driving something other than a Viper. But it's great to see he'd been picked up by a big team like Erebus for this event, he certainly did a great job withstanding the pressure from the pro drivers in that last stint.
 
Have to keep reminding myself there's still a hour and half left. The way the leaders are going at it, it seems like a lot less.

Though as I type this the #84 is expanding it's lead.

My first time watching a race at Bathurst.

Is it always this awesome?
 
This was also my first time watching Bathurst. I have one question though. Why 12 and not 24 hours?
 
I hope Tomas Jaeger takes the last stint in the 84 car..
