Race result (from formula1.com):

Niki Lauda is going to have a meeting with the drivers at 16:45, he calls it a "bad result for Mercedes and for Lewis". Hard to argue with that, the incident was clumsy and a shame.

Maybe we will get the shades of Senna/Prost as the season goes on, I wasn't convinced we were there before now...
Lauda? There's nothing they can do at the moment, they booth will try again to defend and attack as much as they can. At least until Ricciardo will gain enough points to be a threat for the Championship (and maybe we reached that point already).

Surely if Lewis will not win the title he will ask to move on from MGP. We'll have a domino effect on Top Driver's transfers.

i'm just tired of these pathetic clumsy incidents over and over again. This is supposed to be a great battle not some kind of weird series of non events that have great effect on race results. One thing is for sure, Mercedes are doing a rubbish job of managing what is supposed to be a complete sweep for them.

That's the first time they collided.

RIC says brake pedal was going a bit long; Newey says hydraulics held together.

Ros-Ham incident is a racing one but could have easily been avoided if Rosberg was more patient, with DRS he could have well had an opportunity to pass.

Rosberg without a doubt the worst drive of the day, bad start, turned into his team mate, had a huge lock up and overtook Button illegally before giving the place back. This is why I prefer MotoGP, the best guy with the best equipment wins 95 percent of the time.

Wolff and Lauda just slaughtered their championship leading driver on live TV

Eddie Jordan making an absolute pillock of himself as per usual. Rosberg was at fault but you can't fault two racers for racing each other.

Kudos to Eddie, this isn't wrestling, there is no reason to be booing people.

Anyways, it was a solid race, hopefully Bottas will get more than a podium before the year is over.

Really hard to manage them now.
Actually it become a lose lose situation.

1 - If they don't do anything Rosberg / Ham might keep crashing everytime the get close and Ricciardo, laughing, might win the Champ. Imagine that.
2 - If they say: "Ok! 1st driver Rosberg 2nd driver Lewis." They'll get booed by the whole World and loose Hamilton at the end of the season.
3 - If they'll keep the sneaky sabotage on Lewis they'll still loose him at the end of the season.

It's a lose lose lose situation.
Triple lose.

I think they'll keep going with the 3rd option.

EDITED for grammar mistakes.

Still finished 2nd.

Nobody likes a story where you know who will win.

In other news, Suzi Perry implying that they only like Hamilton in Britain.
Er...I'm backing Rosberg.

Yup, I don't think Eddie is the greatest "TV person" but I thought he handled that very very well, and the round of applause from the fans showed they'd had a good telling-off :D

Good result for Bottas, a shame for Massa when Williams clearly have the potential right now after quite some drought.

No, the discussion was that in general neither British nor German fans seem to have particularly taken to Rosberg. They continue to say the same was true of Vettel and that the fans still have a longing for Schumacher.

In a team where a German competes with a Brit it's understandable where the bulk of our media will fall, for sure.

I love Eddie and his team owner perspective compared to DC's driving perspective.
Perspective is irrelevant, he's so unprofessional and childish, this is live BBC television not Jeremy Kyle.

Lauda was really furious on German television about the accident and blames Nico for not lifting and driving into Lewis.
This is the front diplomatic cookie for Lewis but Lauda know it can happen again. Who is going to lift when you are driving for a Championship?
