Japan could have won against Greece and CIV but blew it. So Greece go through with the minimal of goals scored. :lol:
Surprised they did though, I thought CIV would easily beat Greece.
And terrible judgement by refs? That happens at every world cup.

Indeed, he was clipped.. Difficult to see, Dutch tv had to use slow motion to show it. Still a very harsh penalty, and very rough call for the ref.

Tbf, I do have a soft spot for Sokratis. If only because his FIFA 14 TOTS is wonderful.

What was cheating about it? He went down and as soon as he touched the grass the ref blew his whistle. No cheating but awful judgement by the ref. But that kinda fits this WC.

Cheating wasn't the right word. The victory was merely hollow, due to a poor decision

More than half the results right (21 to 19), even including the fact Group C was a disaster for me, and half of the 2nd round qualifiers right - and three of those in the right order, with one 2nd round match completely right.

So far.

Forgot about them, but I can definitely see Ghana getting a result vs Portugal. If USA loses vs Germany, both the US and Ghana will be on 4 pts, so will USA go through since they've beaten Ghana or are they going to base it off Goal Differential?
