I was just saying to my friend. Going split screen at those times would be great. Other sports do similar things

Totally agreed, however the amount of money these companies push at NBC Sports for air time is insane and they don't want their ads to be in split screen. I work in a bar a block away from the NBC Sports guys and ripped one of their employee's head off after the Monaco race for displaying the results on the bottom ticker during the replay of the race.

Funny how much pull a bartender has when sports is involved. NBC Sports now has been going through a revamp meet of employees in charge of their ticker.
