Davidson's a great example of why Kravitz is so poor... he's concise, doesn't do a long spielin/spiel-out for his "quick words" that can take a full lap... and he's aware of what's going on in the race while he's talking.

That was close. Not only Magnussen, but the Williams pit guys too.

Raikkonen takes a look at Kobayashi but it doesn't stick. Ferrari being held up by a Caterham? Welcome to Monaco.

Shades of Coulthard/Bernoldi, one of the reasons that Max Chilton should have his bulwarks tarred for letting the Sauber past so easily.

EDIT: Bianchi does a Kobayashi on... Kobayashi :D

That's the race ruined for quite a few people. Me included. My stupid internet provider keeps dropping Formula1.com and GTPlanet. I'm having to use a proxy server to get anything done!

Quite a lot of penalties being handed out today! Personally I think the 5 second penalty is unfair, because if you do it under the safety car, you don't really get punished...

Then again, starting in the wrong grid slot due to Maldonado not being able to find his keys doesn't seem like a punishable offense

Lewis was a bit petulant on the radio back there. Merc should have brought them both in before the safety car yes, but if they had, they would STILL have pitted Nico first, since he's the driver up front.

He needs to get his head down and figure out how he's going to get past Rosberg. Me, I'd bide my time, try to save tires behind Nico, then select a window when these tires are worn down to attack... try to force another mistake out of Nico.

Interesting, fuel used by Rosberg is a lot higher than Hamilton and Rosberg also got radio message about it becoming critical if he drives with gears he is currently using in some corners. Best thing for Lewis is probably to push to the end now.

So a pretty standard Monaco GP so far, a few bumps, a few daredevil overtakes and everyone else following each other. I can't see much if anything changing, except for more bumps and/or crashes.

Apparently Nico is finishing the main straight one gear lower than optimal, just to keep ahead of Lewis. He is being told to stop... again... But even doing that, he's still getting reeled in.

I can see Lewis trying something near the end. Whether he can make it stick... who knows?

Massa finally pits. With twenty fewer laps to do on the prime tires plus having more fuel left than anyone around him, he can pretty much attack all the way to the end.

Vergne giving Bianchi a little nudge.

No problem. Didn't need that tiny winglet, anyway.

So how much fuel do we think they have, 85l? Certainly nowhere close to the 100.

Monaco though, where track position is king.

That nose insertion attempt from the Toro Rosso.

Bianchi still holding position, much to Vergne's annoyance. A Marussia point isn't entirely out of the question either.
