Arsenal were lucky to win from what I hear, but all of Wenger's work in the summer payed off :lol:
Looking at the fixtures it looks as if neither BT or sky wanted to show Arsenal v Leicester on the 13th February, they might be regretting that now.
 
Let's see how many smaller teams get screwed over this round by having their stars leaving for the money!
 
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see Leicester line up without Mahrez and Vardy at the start of February. They might be "happy" at Leicester but when a team like Barca knocks even a big team like Man Utd struggle to keep their stars.
 
I don't see Vardy moving abroad but maybe going to a team like Liverpool who can just offer him higher wages. But Mahrez maybe moving back to France for the likes of PSG or going to Spain.

Gossip: Koeman has put a £62.5mill price tag on Mane, Norwich & Swansea are competing for the signing of Remy, £10mil buy out clause revealed in Bojan's contract.

After watching the highlights of the Arsenal game. We were quite lucky to have come out the game with the win as Newcastle had the better opportunities and the possession. Transfer gossip today is Arsenal are preparing for a big money move for Aubemeyang.

Agree with you Mickey, Cech saved us there. We've weathered the storm of no Alexis Sanchez though, Ox and Theo really need to step up.

Joel Campbell should start ahead of Ox in my opinion. When he came on, we looked more confident moving forward.

Me neither. He has one good half season so far. If he can keep this up until December 2016, then it warrants a possible transfer to a top team.

Vardy is going to turn 29 next week so he maybe going for quite a cheap price. But I would not be surprise if he stays at Leicester and no teams cash in.
 
Leicester is in the money too, nowadays, correct? So that should warrant him a decent pay raise for next year, if he stays of course.

If they can secure a European football slot then they are sure to be in the money.
 
I'd say Leicester can hold on to both Mahrez and Vardy.

Stoke paid only around £1mill for his services but they can just offer him a new contract which currently has 2 years left.
 
It's been reported by the Mirror, who don't have a great track-record when it comes to transfer rumours like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a buy-back clause to Barcelona for £10mil but I doubt it's a release clause for any other team to capitalise on.
 
£10 million for Bojan is, or would be, a steal.

I agree, I think he was being rested but he's clearly the better option at the moment.
 
Chelsea comfortably beat Palace 0-3 away from home and Everton-Spurs is 1-1 at half time.

Rooney's goal yesterday now means he is second in both the United all time goal-scorers list and the Premier League all time goal-scorers list, his recent drought meant he was joint second on both for a LONG time...
 
This boy Delle Alli looks an absolute steal. He scored again for Spurs today.

And just read that Bournemouth got Iturbe on loan. Iturbe is talented, let's see if he is going to do well for the Cherries.
 
Finished 1-1 between Everton and Spurs with two really good goals from Lennon and Alli and Alli is turning into a fantastic player...

I've always thought of that, why not get the player you don't want to lose injured so they can't pass medicals for clubs that want to buy them.

I mean, it's a bit unfair and unethical, but if they conveniently have a twinge or a knock, book the surgery for the transfer window.
 
Leicester have apparently matched the release clause in Demari Gray's contract. He's a very talented striker at Birmingham and will be loaned back for the rest of the season.

Today's gossip: Newcastle hope to sign Austin after Cisse is expected to be out for three months, Wenger says the club will complete a signing within the next 10 days, Grujic is undergoing a medical at Liverpool, Chelsea & Man City are preparing bids for Isco and Sunderland are looking at Jan Kirchhoff.

A lot of reports in Spain saying Rafa Benitez is 'doomed' as Real Madrid manager and that they are having a board meeting tonight to discuss his future.

Leicester have signed Demarai Gray from Birmingham on a four year deal, not sure how much for but he had a release clause of £3.75 million, he wont be re-joining Birmingham on loan for the rest of the season.
 
Benitez has supposedly been sacked with Zidane taking over. Announcement later.
 
It is harsh but he has supposedly fallen out with some of the players, Real sit 3rd in the league currently, Barcelona won everything last year!

Breaking!, Real Madrid to hold a news conference at 6.30 tonight, and that's 6.30 our time so around 45 minutes for that....

Half a season in, averaging just over 2 points a game and gets the sack. SSN showed footage of Real Madrid fans booing Rafa when he appeared on the stadium's big screen. I thought Newcastle managers had it bad.

To be honest the Real fans are quite savage. They even bash their own players if they just have a bad game.

Shame Pato won't be returning to Europe. If he wasn't hit with the multiple injuries at Milan, he could of gone a long way.....
