De Gea should be fit to play, Schweinstiger out with minor injury, Di Maria and Chicharito join the squad tomorrow after extended break following the Copa America...

Fantastic by United to beat Barcelona 1-3 yesterday, I couldn't find a live stream on my Laptop but did find one on my phone so I watched it on that, I know it was only a friendly but it was still promising and the fact that two of our youngsters scored is good, PSG on Thursday next..

Arsenal are playing Wolfsburg now on BT in the final of the Emirates Cup.

Angel Di Maria was supposed to meet up with the United squad yesterday after his break but missed his flight, strong reports and rumours saying he is poised to join PSG for £44 million

The new PL season starts in just two weeks but next Sunday is the Community Shield between Arsenal and Chelsea...

United sign Argentine Goalkeeper Sergio Romero on a free transfer from Sampdoria, he is supposed to be a replacement for Valdes (who's still at the club!) but could be a replacement for De Gea when/if he goes to Real, no bid for De Gea yet as far as I know, Romero played under LVG at Alkmaar...

Stevan Jovetic is in Milan for his medical ahead of a two-year loan deal at Inter...

Stoke have signed Ibrahim Affelay.

Anyone hear what happened in the Russian League last week, former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong was racially abused at Spartak Moscow whilst playing for his new club Ufa, he responded by giving the crowd the middle finger for which he was then sent off, he gets a two game ban and Spartak's punishment? nothing, even Frimpong's manager has said that he should have kept his emotions in check and defended the crowd...
 
It's an armpit of a country. And the way it's heading, it will stay an armpit for quite some time.
 
I've said this before, there has been a lot of talk about Qatar 2022 and how they won they right to host and at what time of year it will be staged and so on, but they need to focus on Russia first as its only a few years away and they have their own problems...

I saw that. The club tweeted that he should have sucked it up. If I was him I'd have just said F it and left the club.
 
As I can't find a Europa League thread and Southampton is in the Premier League, I will just leave you with this.

Anyone hear about the little verbal disagreement between Rafa Benitez's wife and Jose Mourinho?, it began when the wife said that all her husband seems to do is tidy up Mourinho's messes as he has now been in charge of the same clubs after Mourinho three times (Inter, Chelsea and Madrid), she was only joking but Jose responded by saying that Rafa made the best team in Europe one of the worst in just six months whilst at Inter Milan and said Rafa's wife should concentrate on her husbands diet than worry about him! :lol:

Currently at Parkhead awaiting the match against Qarabag to begin in our second Champions League qualifier. Its going to be a tough game for sure but hoping we'll pull through! 👍

So PSG have won the American section of the International Champions Cup this morning after beating Man United 2-0 (:indiff::indiff::indiff:), Ibrahimovic and Matuidi with the goals, I didn't watch it as it was on late and I had to get up for work but I've seem some match reports and it wasn't good by United, they said we were poor defensively and disjointed up front, New York Red Bulls finish second and United third...

....Real Madrid win the Asian section after beating AC Milan 10-9 on penalties after 0-0 in normal time.

Edin Dzeko is in talks with Roma over a permanent deal...

West Ham have had three players sent off in five Europa League games which is kind of ironic when you consider they got to the Europa League through the Fairplay league :lol:

Let the kid first show his skills before praising him! That he can ball on Dutch league level doesn’t mean that he will shine on Premier league levels.

It has gone down hill for a couple of years now. I used to have a subscription for the Eredivisie but the last 5 years have been abysmal. Ajax' last Champions League game showed why.

I honestly thought Afonso Alves would be one of Boro's best ever signings, I think he'd won the European Golden Boot the season before he joined...

Dodgy league and all but I do think that he will be the real deal in the Premier League. Not to the level that United fans are claiming but that's natural.

Yeah I think he did, him and Mateja Kezman had a scoring level very similar to Luis Suarez and Wilfried Bony, which I think illustrates the point.

I do think the Clasie, Wijnaldum and Depay will be decent though, along with Tadic and Pelle last year, may change the reputation of the Eredevisie as a development ground.
