Biggest winners:
Romain Grosjean: Okay, so he lucked out a bit, but he had to fight for that podium till the very end.
Sergio Perez: Almost went from hero to zero, but bless you Checo, for making the first half of that race interesting!
***Daniil Kyvat***: A great race for the youngster. That final pit gave him the tires to pull himself up into 4th, but really, all that work throughout the race to bootstrap himself from 12th to 4th... especially after that big scare before the first pit.
Biggest losers:
Duh. McLaren. - No explanation necessary.
Wiliams - Pace woes. Pit woes. Woe woe woe... on the fastest track on the calendar... a place where they ought to be good. Massa had good damage limitation, but Bottas' race was largely forgettable.
Nico Rosberg - Of course Mercedes is unassailable, but his race almost ended before it began. Good damage control, but he might have had a chance at Lewis if he'd done a better job off the start line.
Biggest tragedies:
Daniel Ricciardo - Could have been the third man on the podium. Or second. Who knows?
Sebastian Vettel - Talk about the agony of defeat. Losing the podium and all points there at the very end.
