More rain to be expected in the next 5 minutes.

Depending on the rainfall when this resumes, the people in the drop-zone could be out of luck.

Is it me or has Sky just cut out?

Sky is still broadcasting.

Odd. Maybe it is my pc, just I can watch other channels.

Alonso up to 8th. If the rain does indeed pick up, he might have timed his lap perfectly to get into Q2.

Or not...

Where did Ricciardo come from to set that time.

This is great. It shows who has true car control.

Way to go GT Planet, I checked NBC, NBC live extra, F1, Comcast and couldn't find where and when qualy was. Stop in here and piece of cake...thanks everyone :gtpflag:

Vettel kisses the wall... I'm not sure why Ferrari are risking their cars, surely it would be safer to start from the pit-lane than around the mid/rear field in a wet start?

Marcus, this is Formula 1, not Formula Drift.

Whatching with a huge smile on my face. ☺

Both Manor having moments, though they did better than Vettel did...

Stunning save from Ericsson.

Max is doing great.

Edit

The Saubers aren't.

Ricciardo again. Red Bull look very good in the wet today.

Ricciardo at the top of the sheet. Q2 looks like it's going to happen though so it's not pole (at this moment in time)...

Vettel is a lucky boy. I also think both RBRs could be a genuine threat to pole, the Mercs look floaty in comparison.

Now the question is how badly did he damage his car?

Looks okay :D

I'm still not sure why they're risking it. At best he can qualify tenth... midfield isn't a nice starting place in the wet, they'd be better starting from the pits.

It's starting to look nice.

Turn 10 is not agreeing with the cars in this weather. Good thing it's not a high speed corner.

Any spectators around turn 10 must be thinking they've attended a formula drift time trial.

Looks like the spectators at turn 10 will have the most entertainment today.

Is it me or these cars spun and recovered like a FWD cars?

With Vettel and Kimi both getting +10, Alonso will start the race today in the top 10

I've never seen the Safety Car look so slithery on a lap...

EDIT: Maldonado thinks the track is too dangerous. But then he was on it.
