Both safety cars benefited Hamilton massively. First one contracted a ten second Rosberg lead and the second gave him a free pit stop and fresher tires when Rosberg was on course to win. That was a very fortunate win for Hamilton.
 
Kinda had to laugh at the awkward cap exchange.

I can think of years where the WDC had been already won prior to the US GP, but I can't think of any US GP where the championship was won.

Granted, it was the last race of that year, so I'm not sure if that's what you meant.

Rather the opposite. Lewis threw him the hat. Nico just returned it. Not really nice from Lewis, knowing that the hat clearly states "2nd" on the side.

Technically yes since it is US soil, but that was the Caesar's Palace Grand Prix.

Both actions were equally awkward to me. Hamilton looked a bit innocent, maybe did he want to tease his teamate to make him smile despite the situation?

Completely agree, I'm normally more of a HAM than a ROS fan, but that was just a douchebag action from HAM.

I was only talking about the one (second) and really it doesn't matter much now as I've already said.
 
So now we have a battle for 2nd in the WDC between Rosberg & Vettel.
 
Elton might have been rubbish, but he was better on the Podium than Eddie Jordan.
