Is that good?
Only if they are aiming at beating Rebellion as an LMP1 should be more than 3 seconds faster than an LMP2 car.

On a Sub Minute track?Only if they are aiming at beating Rebellion as an LMP1 should be more than 3 seconds faster than an LMP2 car.
It depends on what aero package the P2 is running. Is that good?
Looking at @Roo 's picture I will never understand how on Earth you guys manage to use the left arm and hand to do your gear-shifting (and hand-braking)![]()

Anyone going to have a go at working out the distance of the track displayed so we can create out own speed trap data?![]()
Considering this is 'Murica, its obviously feet.length of the main straight is 2300 feet or meters?
5" on the map = 48000" IRL
My measurement is that the visible track length is 2.5" = 24000" = 2000' = 0.379 miles.
I can see how that's possible since this thread was created in December and the Le Mans General Discussion thread is from 2010...Yeah I don't get it, its just an extension of this thread.
IF they were running that layout you might be right but since they are running the 1.97 mile south course with the 4000'=.76 mile straight.5" on the map = 48000" IRL
My measurement is that the visible track length is 2.5" = 24000" = 2000' = 0.379 miles.
No.Revised math puts it at 0.439 miles.
102.69mph average though our timing zone.
I was going to time laps, but the test looks over.I'm switching between the 2 track cameras while the car doing the lap.
One lap I followed was around 52 seconds, about 136 MPH average.
Very consistent 52 seconds.
