God damn it, I'm away today and thought the race was on a Sunday. :banghead::banghead::banghead:. I didn't DVR it and Faux only does 1 hour highlights weeks later.

7 car must win and the 17 has to finish below 4th for them to win the title. 168 pts is the magic number

Start of weekend
17-155 pts and +1 for pole so 156
7- 143 pts

Actually I know who is gunna win! Every season on the WEC the winning car has always won the first race of the championship.

P2 points magic number is 162. The 47 with a win ends with 162 and the 26 G-Drive would only need 9 points, P5 in class wins the title.

7-2-1 finish and the 18 car pits for a mystery problem near the end of the race put the 17 car 4th and tied on points at 168, and they win based on more wins.

Yea but. LMP drivers championship. I only have enuf brain power for one very exciting race.

Dammit! I missed another entire race! Wish I could've seen it! Well, I'll just watch the highlights.

Sad to see that this was the last race for the 458 Italia. Car has really made a name throughout the years. Hopefully it will stay in competition in the GTE-AM class next year.

It's not the last race for the 458?

Yes this was the end of an era, actually two.

Today we witnessed the end of naturally aspirated Ferrari, the glorious screaming wail from that Italian beauty gone as the even more beautiful 488 GTB, but it's engine is lifeless. While privateers may continue to run the 458, most if not all teams are changing over to the 488.

And we've also witnessed what could be the end of the 911's long reign as the top dog of Porsche, with the rumored announcement of a mid-engined car replacing the 911 in GTE. The Porsche factory team will be taking the 2016 season off, leaving only the 4 privateer run GTE-Am cars. Even as an Aston Martin/Corvette fan, I will miss the Beettle in GTE. :(
