Not exactly. We started and finished the qualifying race, then started the N24 as well but we ended up retiring the car after a few hours.

I've been filled in with the rest of the details elsewhere...

It's a pretty big kick to the stomach, if my opinion counts for anything. I just feel that certain degrees of leniency are in order, this is a game after all. I don't think the situation requires that extreme of a punishment, we're not exactly paid to do this, and I think some people would turn down a little overtime at work or a random messy night out for a chance to participate, which shows the dedication and passion for this series.

Thank you for the kindness @Masterhec, unfortunately there will be no races for us as the two Franchises have been rescinded as the admins have the right to do per the regs.

Spoiler: Sporting Regulations - Team Eligibility 2.2.e

Franchises may be rescinded at any time if Franchise holders and/or their Drivers do not adhere to the Sporting Regulations.

I cannot believe this.

If you guys are to be upset at anyone, be upset as me as I was the one that made the call to retire the car. You guys had an awesome season and I'm proud of how far we came after never competing in any online events before the season.

So the moral of the story is, don't retire just have an extremely long driver change...

Its a shame when real life circumstances out of your control cost you opportunity to play a game for fun...

Another point to add to my ongoing list.

Hosting a practice room for Spielberg for anyone interested. I won't be actively participating much, but I will leave the lobby open for some hours for any interested.
EDIT: Whoops! Had a small oversight in which I forgot to change some internet settings. If you had problems getting in before, they shouldn't exist now. Lobby has been re-opened.
EDIT 2: The room has fallen out of my hands thanks to more network issues, but it is still running as far as I know.
