I think it's about time NASCAR starts using air conditioning proper. They can't keep having these races where multiple drivers are getting out on the verge of being sick due to the heat.

We already had a Cup driver faint from heat exhaustion earlier in the year, its not going to make for great TV if multiple drivers just drop after a long race on a hot day with no Air conditioning.

Not that it'll ever convince the higher ups that NASCAR at Indy has worn out its welcome and run its course.

Considering they came up with this package weeks ago, you'd think they would have had one-piece spoilers made instead of a carbon fiber Gurney flap attached to a polycarbonate spoiler attached to a carbon fiber spoiler.

"Yo dawg, I heard you like spoilers, so we added a spoiler to a spoiler so you can generate downforce while generating downforce."

But the aero changes were suppose to make the race less boring...
But people are acting like they made it more boring, which they didn't.

All I'm saying is I'd rather see change that has a neutral effect rather than no change

Saw a whole nice article about how other teams helped Timmy Hill and the #98 team get a backup car up and running for this race...

...still running 43rd, almost 50 laps down.

Not sure whqt the whole issue with that team, but they aren't getting any sympathy after the canned Josh Wise.

Anybody know what minimum speed is? The #24's moving around awfully sloe.

Gordon is going to the garage. Car is too slow and he doesn't want to get in the way any more and cause a crash because of it.

Edit: 98 broke an axle coming to the green at the beginning of the race.

I guess the 24 is staying out. They were talking about getting off the track.
