I didn't get to see or listen to the practice, but based off of the chat here, I guess I'll be granted a few extra hours of sleep courtesy or NASCAR on Sunday.

Oh, it looks like the entire field is using the F1 garages. If only all the tracks were like this, and they used the pitlane in front of the garages as well...

Hearing how bad this new package is makes me glad I'm working 1-5 on Sunday. I'd rather bring home the bacon than watch a race I'll fall asleep to.

Looking back through twitter since I disabled my desktop notifier. Looks like this package is not working as intended.

Watching practice...KyBusch spent two-three laps behind Stewart trying to pass, would get a run on him, pull out and....nope. Couldn't pass.

#NASCAR Kyle Busch on radio after not being able to pass Tony Stewart via draft with package: “(#*)@(#@* joke. (@#)*)@# joke.” @NASCARonNBC

Logano said he could get a huge draft, but when he pulled out on a car, "It was like putting the brakes on." Says won't know until Sunday.

So to sum up: NASCAR has made a boring race even more boring.

Yeah, I'll stick to watching a rerun of the F1 race Sunday.

Good to see Stewart find some speed.

Landon Cassill 24th.. ahead of Austin Dillon and probably others, but the list only went to 25th.

A few big names/teams back in the pack. Kahne (27th), Chase Elliot (28th), Ryan Blaney (30th), BK (31st), Ryan Newman (36th).

I miss IRP or whatever it's called now.:(

It's Lucas Oil Raceway (LOR?)

and k Edwards. You go almost two years without getting any poles and then out of the blue you go two in a row.

Good luck to all drivers and teams at Indy, both in the XFINITY Series today and in Cup tomorrow.

From what I am hearing, today and tomorrow afternoon will be a snooze fest.

Highlight of the race so far: A pass for 2nd. Not even a special one

Suarez looks really stronk today! :D

That reminded me of Hakkinen's pass at Spa in 2001.

Aaaand Suarez to the lead! 70 car was a real detriment.

Well, Justin Boston is no longer a full time driver in the 54 in the Trucks so...

Sad that being a Roush Driver was the ONLY option he had this season.
