It won't necessarily make them a better driver unless they're either working close with those drivers or able to race close with them on a weekly basis.

Even when drivers are getting lapped, they can follow for a few laps, and learn a better line around the track.

Time to think Chase for the Cup on the Cup side. Plan on going to any races or looking ahead to any races coming up? Here are the races to be run in September 2015 across NASCAR's top three Touring Series:

--- September 2015: Trucks ---
Sep. 18: Chicagoland
Sep. 26: Loudon

--- September 2015: XFINITY Series ---
Sep. 5: Darlington
Sep. 11: Richmond
Sep. 19: Chicagoland
Sep. 26: Kentucky

--- September 2015: Cup ---
(! = Chase for the Cup event)

Sep. 6: Darlington
Sep. 12: Richmond
Sep. 20: Chicagoland!
Sep. 27: Loudon!

Should be a good September of NASCAR racing. Go enjoy some NASCAR this upcoming month.

It clearly didn't help Stephen Leicht, who never got a full-time ride after even winning a race in 2007.

Yet somehow, David Gilliland did and he hasn't exactly shined :odd:

Hell, Ricky Stenhouse won the championship twice and well...you know the rest.

As I said before, the whole "Where names are made" crap is there just because NASCAR PR seriously thinks that having three drivers related to former Cup drivers and two that aren't Caucasian automatically makes the series a Feeder series And "International".

I will be infiltrating the Richmond press room so be prepared for posts describing what Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s beard looks like up close.

Basically, you're gonna confirm its Red-ish or brown? (depending on the season), like usual?

That was last year for Bob. They use Brian Till as the stand-in now.
Does NBC do on-site F1 or is it through live-feed and the studio?
Studio in Stamford, CT for F1 unless it's Montreal or Austin, or Monaco. Maybe even Mexico.. not sure about that.

I wondered how Diffey did Spa and then the NASCAR race the same day , didn't know that they didn't go to the track

The classic white lettering on the Goodyears returns.

Even though the appearance of this weekend may be a throwback to the Golden Era, I have a feeling that the racing will be incredibly boring like the other races at Darlington since the 2007 repave. :indiff:

I don't know, they're doing the Kentucky package here and the tires this time are designed for that package

There are very few teams that AREN'T running a throwback paint scheme as of now.
1, 13, 18, 19, 20, 24, 26, 30, 34, 35, 40, 47, 62, 78, 83, 98.

26, 40 and 78 are running special schemes but unrelated to the theme.

And technically Danica since yes it's Darlington related but not throwback.

So excited for this race, and getting all these cars in NR2003 ASAP :P
