Love how yesterday there were probably a lot of punches thrown after the play in football games across America that no member of their media is talking about, but one nothing punch from Harvick has everybody swarming on this in NASCAR.

Just the fact that his wife stepped in and at that point he huffed and puffed around to the other side of the SUV and got in really shows who controls that family.

I do like the way Jimmie just walked off after getting fist-shoved by Harvick.

Like I said, Jimmie wanted to talk, and since Harvick wasn't in the mood to, JJ just went the "kthxbye" route and walked away.

This weekend, NASCAR is racing in both the Bluegrass State and the Granite State. The XFINITY Series will take on the high-speed bounds of Kentucky this Saturday night while Trucks and Cup take on the Magic Mile at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Best of luck to all drivers and teams across all levels of NASCAR this weekend.

Also, I learned that Jeffrey Earnhardt is going to join the Sprint Cup ranks full-time(?) in 2016. So you'll see to Earnhardts in the Cup ranks. I'm pretty sure daddy Dale Sr. will be proud to see two Earnhardts in NASCAR.

Earnhardt will be in the 32 full time with the exception of the plate races, which will once again be ran by Bobby Labonte.

So what happens to Josh Wise, then? He parted ways with the #98 team, so he's pretty much out of a ride at this point in time.

Jeffrey Earnhardt is Kerry Earnhardt's son, making him the grandson of Dale Sr.

He is also going to have Bobby Labonte replacing him for the restrictor plate races.

EDIT - I didn't refresh, and someone already beat me to it.

Still a FA at this time.
Also, they may have a ringer in the car for Sonoma and the Glen as usual. Boris might be retiring after this season so they may go with Fellows or maybe even Jacques.

As generic and boring as liveries come 👎
Better than what it was before

I don't really know much about NASCAR, but does the driver have any say on how the paint scheme of his/her car looks?

Probably very little, at best. It would most likely come down to the sponsor choosing what they want to appear on the car, then depending on the size of the team, they may have a graphic designer draw up a scheme. I've always thought that the only thing that the driver may decide on is the namerail, but I'm not exactly certian.

Jeff has had input on most of his liveries since the rainbow went away, whether or not that's what the final designs for all the various cars have ended up being.

I believe this was a Sam Bass design as that's who had done all the DuPont/Axalta liveries.

This might be the final Bass car. Supposedly he is retiring following this year.

Travis Pastrana in the 31 Truck next week in Vegas with Gun Broker sponsorship

Most likely his final. He's been battling illness for at least a year now.

Pastrana back in NASCAR? That's something I wouldn't have expected.
