He was probably planning on doing what I was planning on doing and catching the replay of it at 1230 which is now being preempted for NASCAR.

Probably so. But if he DVR's the 5:30 airing, then watches it while he eats his morning Pop Tarts like I am planning, there is no conflict.

Basically.

Darn you, Mother Nature! So we'll have to wait for the race at Charlotte to take the green flag. Thank goodness Mother Nature isn't in the Chase because she'd win by default.

On the other hand... I do have to thank Mother Nature for the fine weather here in Texas! :)

mother nature hates nascar

and pretty pathetic that the race is being moved to nbcsn in favor of tape delayed golf.

They really meant 1230pm when they said 1230pm. Race is about to go green in just over a lap.

Let's hope for a great, safe race today. :D

Jeb Burton gonna Jeb Burton.....

How many times has there been an accident at the start of a race before all of the cars crossed the start-finish line?

How in the world do you screw up the initial start of the race. Those 4 cars hadn't even crossed the line yet...

...wot

Kasey Kahne got the wall pretty good. There's a nice yellow stripe down the right side of his car.

I feel for him; I swear he gets the leftovers at Hendrick.

EDIT: Status of Kahne's car a few laps later: Ded.

And Kahne into the wall again.

Nobody at Hendrick cares about Kahne :C

Hendrick Cars must have a magnetic affinity for the wall this weekend.

Oh my god. It happened again!

EDIT: They didn't even clean the oil. What a joke.

Stupid move for both drivers. These last 20 laps or so have been a joke.

It looked like Larson would have missed the cone if no contact happened. Busch got penalized for being too fast entering the pits.

How the 🤬 do you get a penalty for to fast entering when a car is wrecking right in front of you?

:grumpy:

That was unnecessary. Larson wasn't even going to be close to making it inside when he swung back down. Busch wasn't even gonna hit the commitment cone if Larson hadn't hit him.

Umpire crew from the Mets-Dodgers game must be officiating this race as well.

It seems like half of the chase field is trying to pull a Harvick by running up front and the other half is trying to pull a Jr. by trying to kill off their chase hopes in this race.....

And there goes Jimmie...
