Yes, because turning into another car is a good way to get out of the way of everyone, because they're all crashing off the track instead....

Anyway, just popping in to say that in spite of the usual shenanigans, I'm glad to see Newman Hamlin and Kenseth all gone :)

Is Newman gone? Still haven't seen results.
 
31, 11, 88, 20 are all out. Not sure why NASCAR is holding off results unless they're actually planning on doing something about Harvick, but since both Hamlin and Kenseth brought it up on TV interviews, they're probably investigating.
 
Nascar makes a gimmicky chase and a boys have at it rule, things like this are bound to happen. I don't blame kevin at all. Nascar condones crap like this , so of course he would intentionally do that. Just as Logano did to kenseth. But I can't be mad with the yellow. They tried all they could to end it under green. Don't be mad at kevin. Be mad at nascar.

Also love Logano blocking like a madman after his whole "blocking is stupid" claim at Chicago.

I'm done with Cup once Homestead is over. I just want to watch just to see Kyle Busch Make NASCAR's chase system look stupid. Afterwards, To hell with them. They can have their moronic show run by an idiot, who is fittingly encouraging everyone to be idiots.

Also, how in all hell did Biffle get the lead? That was the most confusing 20 laps I ever watched.
 
Even on the disallowed start NASCAR should have taken Harvick's move as forfeiting the position.

We should of said that when MWR pulled their crap too...

Here's the issue, NASCAR has fans long term fans (not sure what you are) and has people who pay to watch this whatever you want to call it -cause it aint racing- and then pretend that this is all legit and they don't have rules that basically want teams and drivers to do bad decisions on the track for a chance to move on into the chase further.

Remember this isn't even for the championship, but a chance at it and they're doing this. Also most here aren't Junior fans and they're mad at the fact that this is essentially a farce to generate more ticket sales and viewership.

Pretty much how I feel. At the end of the day, you have to remind yourself who's running the show:

Harvick may have forced his way into the chase.
Biffle got screwed over by NASCAR not throwing the red flag (irrelevant but still).
Jr. got screwed over by both Harvick AND Logano.

That a Formula 1 race in Texas proved to be more exciting and professionally run than Talladega. I only flipped to NASCAR during commercials and missed nothing of consequence.

You guys hate on Logano too much... When the rules allow someone to do something like that, and when they actually condone it, I see nothing wrong with it.
