All these Gordon fans celebrating because they know this will be his last win. Also, whoever changed the thread title needs to watch a real race before posting.
I've yet to say it wasn't. The out come was not intentional, something I've repeatedly said, however, Matt knew full knowingly what he was doing, and then turned into an ass hat when he gave the childish lying interview.
No, it's still not the same. Joey didn't drive him up the wall.Change Matt's name to Joey's and it's the same.
I can deal with that. That's the section we agree. No harm.
Because you generally don't hear about amateur racers. Very few of the races I've competed in were televised, and the ones that were, were tape-delayed, edited down to 30 minutes, and only shown to a few thousand people in Portsmouth, Virginia 9+ years ago. Not all racing is shown on TV, you know.
That would be that @Jahgee1124 fellow, I hear he's a Gordon fan. When you quote this post, you should list out what real races you'd recommend so thatAll these Gordon fans celebrating because they know this will be his last win. I only discussed my credentials when asked. I wasn't "pulling cards," only backing up my claim. When I mentioned my status as an amateur racer, I only stated it because my racing experience is what led me to my conclusions about the incident. My grandfather was a dirt track racer back in the 50's and 60's. He was quite successful. What I'm saying is that it doesn't really matter. You are pulling the racer card like your opinion means more. It doesn't. I met Casey Mears a while back. Cool guy. Big deal.
He's one of those kind of fans, I seeI don't know who @Jahgee1124 is but I'm pretty sure he drives a 2003 Jeff Gordon Edition Monte Carlo.
I could write for Buzzfead with my click bait creating skills@Jahgee1124 You sure know how to bring attention to the thread...people who don't even follow NASCAR are starting to show up.
By the way, the snark really isn't appreciated.
About that, we can agree.Welcome to GTP, sweetheart. Stay away from the Brits if you can't handle the snark. This site is as snarky as they come.
I've been racing for 15 years and have won two track championships, a number that would have been at least doubled if not for two instances where track officials were blatantly skewed towards other racers, doing everything in their power to prevent me from capturing the championship. I've won 250+ races overall (heats and features), started a wiki about Gran Turismo to which I sometimes volunteer my knowledge, and been a commentator for the ORA GT World Championship and GTPES.
So yeah, pro or not I'm pretty well established in the racing world for an amateur. Therefore I know what I'm talking about.
Ah, OK, I understand then. 👍I didn't say that to tell you that you didn't know what you were doing, you mentioned being an amateur and I interpreted that as inexperienced, which is why I questioned if you really wanted to do that as someone that's not established knowing full well how difficult it is just to even get into racing.

My mind right now.All I have to say about today after some time has gone by:
OMFG GORDON'S IN IT I STILL CAN'T FREAKING BELIEVE IT!
KENSETH DID IT YES YES YES
AND EDWARDS STILL HAS A SHOT GOING TO THE FINAL 4 WOOOOOOOOOOO
Ok, I think my #hype is draining out.![]()
FixedThings I learned today:
- Win and you're in is utter BS.
- Only Logano & Harvick can intentionally wreck people.
- Kenseth is more of a hardass than I thought.
- Kyle Busch can actually maybe not completely throw it all away in a Chase.
- Lagono still can convince himself that he didn't have it coming (and some GTP members too)
- @Jahgee1124driveswishes I drove a 2003 Jeff Gordon Edition Monte Carlo.
- I get a free Bloomin' Onion if I mention Harvick's name at Outback even though I hate Harvick. A free Bloomin' Onion is a free Bloomin' Onion though.
I am to pleaseI'm laughing so bad with all the @Jahgee1124 3rd person jokes that is actually bad.
I wish that Outback thing worked worldwide. Meh.

Joey in thought : so many races won, and now for nothing...was it something I said, how could this have happened to me... ME!!!
Harvick's sticker must have peeled off.I'll say this much. I'd rather be Gordon or Truex than Harvick or Logano at Martinsville. The latter two might as well have "hit me" stickers stuck to their bumpers.
Didn't Logano even say after Kansas that "he raced Kenseth the way he was raced by Kenseth?"Some mutual respect for your competition would be a start.

I think Kenseth just returned the favor today. Kenseth had dominated that race at Kansas, just as Logano did today.
