That would probably be what would need to happen to get rid of the chase (Or at least it's current format)
Anyone that thinks NASCAR is going to remove the Chase because of a single weird result is delusional. Brian France isn't open to logic, reasoning, sensibility, or potentially persuasive dialogues. It's never going to happen on his watch.

To be fair, that is what got us into this mess in the first place.

Also, I wonder what happens if Sprint doesn't get replaced. It seems odd that there hasn't been an announcement yet.

Brian France is truly the Bernie Ecclestone of NASCAR. He just opens his mouth far less.

I'm in love with that number font. Was part oclf a NASCAR painting community. Used a #97 font that was pretty close to that. Man, did it look good.

NASCAR clearly wants Tony Stewart to be in the Chase whether he deserves to be in or not.

That stupid metallic number is wretch-inducing

I agree. It looks totally out of place with that livery. I don't know why they insist on using that same inlay pattern for every livery that they use but they really need to change it to go with the livery. As a graphics designer, its things like that, that just make me cringe and wonder what the hell the designer was thinking. Same thing for that damn over-sized fish on Harvick's car, I'm still baffled over that one. :odd:

So watched the ARCA race and got to say on a worried note...

Really hope Bobby Gerhart is ok, that was a major blunt hit drivers-side.

Edit: Checked and released. Phew.

Saw Kurt Busch's picture in qualifying and wow, that is slightly nightmare fuel.

There are few NASCAR stories I've seen that I would support more than this

I'm 1000% in support of Bobby Labonte going for a truck title, he's the type of veteran that series needs, a guy who isn't going to destroy the competition every race but will teach the young guys some of the finer things he's learned over his years of racing.

That is the kind of driver that can shape the next generation of NASCAR drivers
