Shouldn't pavement give the driver an actual chance to alow the car down with the brake? It you can keep the wheels from locking up, you should be able to get it slowed down to steer it away from fhe wall.

If you're on grass, unless you dig into it, aren't you just sliding on top of it? Brakes aren't going to do you much good if haven't got the grip.

If you watch the #54 wreck from the Xfinity race from a year ago, you tell me if he slowed down.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the grass damp/wet from rain in last year's Xfinity race?

Yeah there's no grass in that section at all where he broke his leg...GREAT IDEA MATE.

Now it's all pavement, but yes, last year it was grass. If the grass is wet, it's like braking on ice and you will do nothing. If the grass is dry, you might dig in and crunch goes the car. Imagine if it dug in and the car flipped forward.

If I was a race driver, I would definitely want some KFC in-car with me...talk about living the dream!

Didn't they have Ragan riding with a KFC Go Cup back in dega 2014? I always wondered what happened to it after he wrecked

Yeah. They've even added a wall in front of that wall he hit that sits at a better angle.

Sure did, there was even a holder in the car too.

Well, you guys are saying it, so it's at least twice on this page.

Which is why I just refer to it as a "Forced Holiday". Sadly, one doesn't simply convince Fox or NASCAR to stop trying to be everyone else.

Tires are so bad that they can't run side by side for more than 10 laps.
There is no grip period. I would think if they got a bit of cloud cover the 2nd line may start to develop. Otherwise it will be hugging the bottom of the track and only move up when the car slips.
