And Nascar always talking about we hear the fans and we listen.... The hell outta here with that. If that was the case it would be a whole bunch of stuff that would be different. No I'm not gonna stop watching nascar because of this stuff but maaaannnn if they bring that stupid ass caution clock to cup, then i might start thinking about it........
 
Caution clock is stupid, but happy they are implementing the Chase format in the other series.

Thanks Brian. We all thought you was an absolute moron before this, but now you've absolutely confirmed it for us. I guess I might have a lot more free time on the weekends because I'm not really interested in seeing races get dictated by bogus garbage like the caution clock that will more than likely find its way into the Cup series races with Bozo at the helm of NASCAR.
 
Maybe they will all race really conservative until the last 20 at Eldora. Amd then all hell breaks loose!

Seriously, I cannot really say that this is a stupid idea because I have not seen it in action.

I guarantee it's going to happen in 2 years, just like the chase did. NASCAR will use its handpicked "fans" that support the gimmick to bring this 🤬 up the ladder.

I'm surprised the fans haven't said that Dale Jr. should win all the races because... no reason given.
 
Well, we know one thing's for sure: no more green flag pit stops.

I mean, it might be ok if it was for 30 minutes or longer, but 20? As if a race didn't take long enough.
 
Was it Bruton Smith that said NASCAR needed to have a halftime caution period?
 
Caution clock would be great if there are no more debris cautions, and cars aren't allowed to pit under green unless it's an emergency

I think those pesky pieces of debris will disappear and It won't changed much as many races under 20 to go have a caution anyway...

What amazes me is that nascar was trying to prevent dangerous moments caused by GWC's and their crashes caused by fighting for position, this gimmick now means that Talladega and Daytona will be a wreckfest the whole race for the trucks with the drivers trying to get good spots before the safety car is deployed.

I don't think so in fact many will actually just ride since they know there is no problem losing the draft due to the caution. It really just helps make those races cleaner until the end.
