Time to begin another season with another 500-mile (804.672 kilometer) journey. Anybody can literally win this one considering the insanity and unpredictable nature of this race. Many people would like to say starting the season with the Daytona 500 is like starting the NFL season with the Super Bowl. No matter what, this is one of the biggest races of the year as well as one of the biggest events among all sports.
Let the journey begin. Good luck to all drivers and teams competing in this great race.
Jeff Gordon has to be questioning his move to FOX. He has clowns in the booth and a goof running up and down pit road with a mic in his hand wearing a Maxwell House suit
I went through the channels, noticed there was nothing on, so I decided to watch the race today. I'm hoping for an upset winner. Something along the likes of Landon Cassill.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still avoiding the Truck Series like a disease (minus Eldora) because I don't even want to watch that idiotic caution clock gimmick at work AND I'm avoiding everything else because I hate the chase.
At least Lights Out 7 (same thing I live streamed yesterday) will once again keep me covered if the race goes into a dud period. Which, being Daytona, that's probably going to happen at some point since it usually does at the restrictor plate races.
