It would be logical to return the Xfinity series to what it originally was. Smaller cars on mostly smaller tracks with drivers that actually need the development time.

Unfortunately, NASCAR doesn't function on logic, and we all know that.
Trans-Am TA2 cars come to mind. Would love it if they ran more Iowa/Phoenix style ovals.

I was just going through one of my external hard drives that I store/backup a lot of my past photos on and came across the following pic of Johnny Benson and myself. This goes all the way back to around the early 2000's when I was working as a dj at a bar not far from MIS in Tecumseh, Mich. This was the August race weekend. Along with Johnny, Elliott Sadler also stopped by as did some pit crew members from various teams.

Johnny was one of my favorite drivers. Was awesome the last few races in 2003 when Nemechek became his teammate in place of Neadeu

Wow, there was actually a Anime Paint scheme in NASCAR?? How in the world did I miss that? I know I was watching the whole 2003 season.

It was the second Talladega race, same race that Jamie McMurray ran the Davey Allison tribute scheme
EDIT: Here's the full race broadcast

;)
Oh look, another fictitious post here at GTPlanet or are you being sarcastic. ;)
Harrison deserves the nod and I'm glad for him. 👍👍

I've always been partial to this one

Sweet mother of Tokyo Rose!! Someone, Richard Petty of all people, ran an ANIME NASCAR?!?! That has got to have been some kind of first. Also, was Yu-Gi-Oh really that big in the early 2000's that even the NASCAR crowd got it? I know Monster Jam and Hot Wheels had anime monster trucks, but wow, NASCAR beat Super GT to the Itasha trend. I need a diecast of this
