Trans-Am TA2 cars come to mind. Would love it if they ran more Iowa/Phoenix style ovals. It would be logical to return the Xfinity series to what it originally was. Smaller cars on mostly smaller tracks with drivers that actually need the development time.
Unfortunately, NASCAR doesn't function on logic, and we all know that.
Do you still have the 'stache?
Also, the guy behind you looks possessed.

It is.The NASCAR snapchat is pretty great, I'm assuming it's from that

It was the second Talladega race, same race that Jamie McMurray ran the Davey Allison tribute schemeWow, there was actually a Anime Paint scheme in NASCAR?? How in the world did I miss that? I know I was watching the whole 2003 season.

That has some similarities to the late 90's STP scheme, especially the side of the car. I've always liked that particular paint scheme. I really want to see what the rest of it looks like.
Even though that's a Sam Bass design, that is awful.

Sweet mother of Tokyo Rose!! Someone, Richard Petty of all people, ran an ANIME NASCAR?!?! That has got to have been some kind of first. Also, was Yu-Gi-Oh really that big in the early 2000's that even the NASCAR crowd got it? I know Monster Jam and Hot Wheels had anime monster trucks, but wow, NASCAR beat Super GT to the Itasha trend. I need a diecast of thisI've always been partial to this one

The 43 went full Kuriboh that yearFun fact- the 43 finished 41st in owner's points that season. It's a good thing the car wasn't racing for the fate of the world, unlike the children's card game being played in the anime.
