Some other stuff from /r/NASCAR that would be interesting here

Dirt race update: Kahne himself wasn't driving but he was on the pit crew for his car. I got to meet him and get a car autographed, however if anyone out there wants to see it either say so here or on my profile and I'll shoot you a PM.

#SaveIndy

If I could go see it, I'd buy tickets in a heart beat. Indianapolis is one of my favorite tracks. I'd hate to see it get dropped from the calendar.

Looks very similar to Montoyas scheme at the spring Dover race in 2013.

Of course this new one is improved...

I think that #42 at the start of this page is another bad-looking mish-mash of decals, like many modern day schemes.

That sucks considering Dale won both Pocono races in 2014 and could easily use this as his win for the chase entry. And unlike some of you I couldn't care less about a return of Gordon.
FTFY :D

I wish he won there last year as I went to hopefully see him win 3 in a row.

There's still Talladega, and possibly Dover and Martinsville.

What season are you looking at. Who cares if he wins races while not being in the chase. Trust me after this weekend he's out of the top 16 and when he returns he'll be running at Watkins Glen. And though he does better there than Sonoma (which he ran good at until Edwards hit him), I don't see him winning. Michigan or Bristol and maybe Richmond, so he has a good 3/5 chance upon return. I don't see Darlington or the Glen as a possibility.

And this is coming from a fellow Junior fan.

I do find it kind of messed up how people here are cheering at Gordon's return, which comes at Dale Jr's expense. Bit unsettled with that.

It's odd. Last week was the first time since the 1979 Southern 500 that neither Gordon nor an Earnhardt started.

It's nice to see Gordon will be back on track but I'm a little disappointed that Dales sitting out Pocono. However I'll gladly take that over him racing, considering the circumstances. I probably won't be going to Pocono anyway, as the closer it gets, the more it looks like I'll be at home. Just like last year. :grumpy:

Faux starting Vince Mcwelch and his buddy Michael "Sideways" Waltrip :p

Arrgh. He just had to be here for the most exciting Truck of the year.

No one here has been excited that Jr.'s injured, they're excited Gordon's returning. Is that not allowed?

Where the hell did I say or imply that it wasn't allowed? I said I found it weird and slightly unsettling.
