The falcons surprised me. If they clean up what they did yesterday a bit more, they could beat anyone.
Their offense is hands down the best in the league. They will certainly make for an interesting opponent for either Dallas or Green Bay.

This game was unbelievable. Aaron Rodgers is on another planet, you can't ever count that guy out. Just when it looks like it's going to overtime, and Dallas had all the momentum.

To go to Dallas.
And beat Dallas in the last 30 seconds.
When Dallas came back with an 18 point deficit to tie the game twice.

It brings a tear to my eye.
A happy Tear or a Sad Tear?

One of the best plays of that last drive, was Rodgers hanging onto that ball with one hand when he got sacked. Hopefully This Chiefs/Pittsburgh game will be half as good.

Misery loves company. So with one Texas NFL team losing, may well be the other team lose too. I'm happy as a Texans fan. However, I still wished our season would continue. On the other hand, the Cowboys losing is a nice birthday gift for me! :)

Cowboys gunna Cowboys aren't they. I'm so glad "America's Team" lost because I don't think I could have handled the absolute love fest ESPN would have bestowed upon me if they would have won the Super Bowl. At this point as long as Tom Brady doesn't get hit by a bus, I can't see the Pats not winning yet another Super Bowl, even if they have to deflate their balls to do it.

Caz
But yet Rodgers continues to get a pass for openly admitting over inflating balls...

When you can grow a Porn-Stache like that, you're entitled to do whatever the heck you want to with your balls. :sly:

Brady is going to win his 5th title this year. He may also get his 6th next year because (and as much as I hate it) their team is run as effectively as a powerhouse college team. Their players aren't selfish and are team players, and are willing to take less just to make sure they win. Until Brady or Belichick retire they will most likely be in the conference finals, if not the Super Bowl, every single year from now on.

You heard it here first, Detroit Lions Super Bowl LII champions.

But really you're probably right, unless Dallas can figure out how to finish out a season.

I wouldn't write off either Atlanta or Green Bay just yet, they both have high powered offenses. If Green Bay goes in and beats Atlanta, it would be hard to say they would be a lock to lose against the patriots with them being on that kind of roll.

I do think the Pats will handle whoever wins this current game with ease.

Detroit will win a Super Bowl when they figure out which end zone they should be going towards (hint: it's not the one behind them) :dopey:.

Both home teams lost today. Hmm... well here's something nice for a change, maybe Atlanta can finally get a title.

If y'all thought that lovefest would be bad, wait for the distinct possibility of Packers/Patriots. ESPN: OMG BRADY VERSUS RODGERS SOMEONE HOLD ME MY PANTS EXPLODED IN EXCITEMENT

Actually, I think this is the most vulnerable the Pats have been. Their defence is OK, their receivers would be better if they held on to the ball, special teams play has been awful, I mean Brady may as well be Superman, but even Superman has a limit on what he can do. I think this is the NFC side's Super Bowl to lose. Atlanta surprised me, and others too it seems, and it's not like the Packers or Cowboys limped through that game today, the Packers had the ball at the end and won the game as opposed to those Romo-moments of infamy ending with the Cowboys losing the game. I didn't like what I saw from New England, and the Steelers couldn't get a touchdown even though Le'veon Bell ran over the Chiefs. Unless either the Steelers or Pats get in gear, as of now I favor whoever wins between Atlanta and Green Bay.

And ESPN has a love fest with the NFL period. 24 hours in the day, I think they're contracted to have NFL coverage in at least 14 of them.

My Houston Texans did come up with some solid defense on the Patriots. If our offense wasn't so inept or inconsistent, we would have stunned the Patriots back on Saturday night. But at least there's an idea of how to beat the Patriots (or keep the game close) on defense.

The post season has always been about defense, dirty birds could do it on that front more than any team left imo but still lots of game to be played.

Funny headlines that are a thing Tuesday morning:

- All the moving companies in San Diego are refusing to move the Chargers. :mischievous:
- Chip Kelly being interviewed as OC for the Jaguars. :boggled:
