OK, thanks. Well that's too bad. I'll have to look into this more. I think the St. Pete race was over 2 hours.

But, no offense to the hosts or the plucky fans who showed up, this is a destination more suited for an SCCA regional or national than hosting the premier open-wheel series in North America. And while IndyCar continues to throw darts at places with no racing history or limited interest, great, traditional layouts like Road America, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Mosport and CoTA in Austin are ignored.

Pretty much like IndyCar itself.

Robin 👍

We do deserve better. Get TGBB out, get Dracone out, get the fleet of safety trucks spread around the track instead of having all of them swarming on one stalled car, get Firestone to make intermediate tires, and train the corner workers better instead of snagging them from SCCA regionals.

Then, and maybe then, the sport would be better.

Edit: As for them not racing at COTA.. blame Eddie Gossage for that bull.....

Luckily he only ended up with a nasty cut on his leg, considering how boneheaded Dracone is behind the wheel.

They just need better tire options. When they started switching to red slicks, they were lapping slower than the rain tires were doing.

And less Dracone.

Nah the tire options are fine, that circuit just isn't water friendly

I had to look up "TGBB"...I got "thin girl big breasts" before refining my search to "TGBB Indycar".

Well, they have a hard and soft slick tire, and then one rain compound. There's nothing in between like other series have.

Has this always been the case? I could have swore they used to have intermediates. I was surprised when I read this. Then again indycar rarely races in the rain so I could be misremembering.

I know its bad, but hopefully we see a decent race in the rain this season, the first 14 laps were shaping up to be great,

I agree, I was quite impressed. Then it all went down hill... :ouch:

Not surprising as SK had a terrible run at NOLA after being told to keep it clean. I guess this means Saavedra gets another shot at Indy GP, not really going to feature anywhere else though...

Poor Wilson... still no ride

Wilson I thought was with Andretti for the 500...

Also, how long will it take for Honda to complain that their aerokit/turbo/horsepower isn't as good as Chevy's.

Yeah I think what was a good idea in these aero kits really got out of hand, they really are over the top and are causing so many yellows its beyond ridiculous,

It would help if the drivers stopped pretending that they are driving touring cars.
