Hopefully he'll be back for round 2.

I wish the Foxtel Coverage here didn't copy every ad break, it's the middle of the night here we don't need these many ads on.

:ouch: That's not the upcoming Indycar schedule at all.

Damn, didn't seem like that crash would do so much to him (Especially after that display he put on on in Qualifying). Of course, not everyone reacts the same to a concussion.

Daly has track position but will be several laps short on fuel.

I know Power's not racing, but how did that incident occur?

Is it just me, or does the part where the VICS logo animation plays between replays and realtime look a bit laggy or something?

ABC does know that they can actually watch the Marco cam to see what happened and not just watch him play the whinedretti character.

Well... Um...

The Big One.

What in the world?!

Helio started that by hitting Dixon.

oh so snarky

Odd that he got a concussion despite his head not really hitting anything, which makes how he got much more confusing. Was it whiplash?

Concussion can happen from Whiplash, if his head hit something I think there would be significantly more worrying things then a Concussion.

Probably from the side impact, which tends to be more dangerous. Since he wasn't showing symptoms, I'd speculate that the bumpiness of the public roads brought on the concussion yesterday, especially with how fast he was lapping yesterday.

That was a hard hit too, the concrete barriers were pushed back about 6 inches.

So how many Races has Helio destroyed now, I can bet Dixon's issue was from that hit.

Hopefully they will make those barriers safer for next year, there is no reason to have concrete walls exposed in a high speed corner like that.

Edit: And tire barriers are not a good solution, that would make it potentially worse with a bounce back into traffic.

"There's no fuel economy"

Yes there is, Cheever you moron...

Whats the time limit on street courses? 2 hr mark coming up in 5 minutes.

ABC there's more to the Indycar season than the BLOODY INDY 500.

Uh....I think 2 hours and 15 minutes maybe?

There's no hard set time limits for the races, or there's no actual indication of such thing in the rulebook. All I found was that it's at race control's discretion.
