I was there when Dan won the 2011 Indy 500 and was so excited for him, lots of hope that he is ok.

Me and CAMIkaze (Chris Mattiuz) where there as well. I have a few pictures of him celebrating the Indy 500 win and when him and Dario hugged and Dario kissed him on the cheek. Pretty cool photo. My thoughts and prayers are with Wheldon and his family. --- Randy

Not watching anything live right now, but it reminds me way too much of Le Mans, let's hope the end will be just as good as back then.

I watched the Le Mans race, I think this is much more worse since those drivers were ok. I have to go eat right now so wont be on for a few minutes.

Yeah, I just meant the feeling itself right now. Watched it live on TV when Rockenfeller crashed and everyone thought it was a worst case scenario and it feels the same now.

I just thought I'd check his official website if it said anything but the page is down, hope this is just an eerie coincidence.

Probably a massive load on the server with everyone trying to find out any information that they can.

Yeah, a lot of feelings of Le Mans 2011 came flashing back when I saw the crash today. I hope every driver is okay.

Some people are saying Wheldon has passed, but I'm not going to believe anything until I hear from ABC. Either way, this is a terrible day for race fans everywhere.

Aw man...they're all hiding something. Everyone who came out is doing their best to hide their faces and keep their emotions to a minimum. I agree with you, Greg. I'm not going to listen to or assume anything until ABC or IZOD officials speak up.

Don't like the faces on almost everyone in the pits.

It looks like there will be no good news on Wheldon any time soon.

People are going to look sad and worried, we all are, don't read too much into it until there is anything official from the hospital.

To be honest I think its a joke allowing 30+ cars to start. Only Indy should have 33 cars, thats a big enough track (just). This is horrible and it makes me sick. After today I am never watching IRL again.

I'm not believing any news unless it's from a reliable source of information.

KV Racing has just tweeted the drivers will be doing a 5 lap parade in salute.
