All the Chevrolet teams will have a 10-place grid penalty this weekend as they have changed engines.

Should be an interesting race.👍

Ok, how many cars have chevy engines? Isn't almost half the field in Chevy engines? Kinda lost count.

 at the comments:

Too bad Sebastien Bourdais is also getting a 10-spot penalty this weekend - it would have been a golden opportunity for him to start that much closer to the front.

its basically a penalty driving a Lotus engine in the first place

Yeah 'bout half the field is Chevy powered isn't it? Team Penske and KV Racing most notably; that's not gonna do Helio or Power any favours.

11 Chevy powered cars in the series.

Franchitti gets pole by default, being the only non-Chevy in the "Fast 6".

And now, the Lotus Powered cars are also getting grid spot penalties. The hell is this, I don't even.

Real shame for Newgarden as he's such a genuine fella.

I knew him when he raced in England and spoke to him online again recently [/halfassedclaimtofame]

Full course caution #2 for Sebastian Bourdais hitting the wall. Justin Wilson pits, making Sato the leader.

21 of 85 Laps Complete Track Condition: Full Course Caution #2 Leader: Takuma Sato #15

Another Caution?

3 car wreck. Marco in the wall hard.

This race has been a complete wreck fest.

Good race so far, full of cautions though.. I'm not a big fan of street/city circuits, but Long Beach is great in my opinion.
