Kinda at a loss on why exactly they would want Vickers. He would need some serious seat time in a Indycar to begin with before even attempting the 500, at least Kurt Busch had some prior experience in an open wheeler.

Not sure Kurt did. Allmendinger did because he raced in Champ Car and was decent. But I think Kurt was a greenhorn so to speak too.

I believe around 05 (or was it 06) Kurt actually went testing in a Champ car. Can't remember if this was shown o Speed Channel or ESPN (I can't even remember the track), but I definitely recall him doing it and being interviewed about it.

Kurt tested a Champcar for Bobby Rahal's team back in 2003, I believe. I remember that the car had Gigantes sponsorship brought from Michel Jourdain Jr.

I learned the hard way about procrastinating. Because I am also bringing a friend, I'm stuck with $95 a piece Tower Terrace North tickets that appear to have little to no viewing compared to the E section that I usually get .
