I could ask you the same thing.
How so? Suddenly I'm being attacked here for mentioning Ford not being around much longer which we all know had some truth to it. If you think teams will run the Falcon or any other Ford product much longer without factory backing I'd say good luck.

How so, how you defended your opinion after Dave said things about Nissan and supported Ford, you just commented about him and not strengthening your own opinion. I'm not defending Ford in anyway, it could die but I'll wait and see. Though I exoect Nissan to fall apart if they can't pick up the pace after 3 years of fails.

He had to go out and start throwing Datsun and embarrassing distaster out there like I bad mouthed one of his family members or something. Let's face it, ProDrive is only running Falcons right now because they have the cars already and it's easier to keep them around than switch to a different manufacture. If Lexus came in and offered them a factory deal, they would switch in a heartbeat. Same goes for any other Ford teams. Unless Ford decides to come back and offer a factory deal, they are as good as dead. Anyone that doesn't see that is blind.

He talks about giving me the hard truth when he should take it himself when it comes to Ford.

Penske would jump ship as well. He's made mention of that.

And Ford fans? When SBR(the original SBR, not Super Black Racing) sold to EMV8, some Ford fans jumped on the E63. I know I did. I'm back with Ford mainly for the #17. If PRA wind up being the only Fords in the near future, I'll still be following DJRTP.

Besides, we'll see over the course of the year.

Who said I was denying it, it could happen, unless this was directed at Dave.

Doesn't really matter, I just felt like I was unfairly jumped on with his post.

I'm just going to stop posting anymore unless it's absolutely necessary. Seems I can't say anything without starting a bicker fest that I don't care to participate in.

Ford will be a part of the series longer then Datsun I assure you, Ford and Holden have several hundreds of thousands of fans, the fact that there are teams still running the Falcon without manufacturer money only proves my point, if Nissan drop factory money then the Kelly's will drop the Altima faster then Nissan dropped that embarrassing disaster called an LMP1,
Ford is already out though, only a falcon shell on a pipe frame chassis hides it.

Without manufacturer support of any kind you can't really say they are in the series just borrowing the look of their car for your Shell.

The only reason Penske and PRA haven't got a Holden or something else is Holden only funds 2 teams themselves and both of these "ford" teams are using chassis equal to the best out there so why bother.

Same applies with BTCC half the grid is using toca engines with cars that resemble a branded car but with no actual support of that brand they can't claim rights as a manufacturer.

Jeeze man, why so harsh? Have a bad day? Damn.

Why do people jump for this when they read something they don't like...you did the same thing when I was being honest about your honesty in the political thread. Believe it or now we're not bad guys

I think the bigger issue is why you take such offense to those types of blunt comments. I mean Ford has been raced with out factory backing prior, Nissan is just a fly by night operation and not one you can count on being there forever like a certain two.

Musical notes on the Nissan?

Frosty's car looks much better on track, it just doesn't look like frosty's car. It'll take some getting used to not seeing him in a Pepsi car.

It appears I was't the first one to have an issue, hence Dave-o's comments.

Nissan is just a fly by night operation and not one you can count on being there forever like a certain two.
And one of those two being Ford? Who's probably on their way out? Ok.

@R1600Turbo To be fair without Results he has a point, they need results if they are going to stay. This applies to any Manufacturer.

Dave didn't comment in a way in which he felt attacked or see a group he "loves" being spited, but rather commented on what history of the series tells us. Same thing I did as well and the bit you aren't seeming to argue against.

And one of those two being Ford? Who's probably on their way out? Ok.

Once again read the points I've made against this point you've just regurgitated.

Mostert's livery design looks so much like one of the liveries I use in Driveclub. I use better colours though. :p

Still bummed that they refuse to revert the Clipsal 500 back to it's old 2x250km races. It was so much better that way. What frustrates me more is the season ending copy-cat event gets the format Clipsal pioneered.

That's more part of the S.A. Government decision though, I prefer the 250km races as well, I'd love to see the Saturday one go into the night,

That's interesting. Any more detail on that?

I'd love to see Bathurst go into the night or the Saturday races.

Not really, I just remember reading the article in The Advertiser local newspaper when they announced it, which tends to have more fabrication in it then the grid worth of race cars,

The SCA car is no short of sponsors which is good, just need time getting used to seeing Chaz and Frosty not in Pepsi colours. Its a shame theyve left as their cars looked good

Great looking livery, love the orange.

They look great!

Didnt see that coming, SP Tools sponsoring two cars! Good for them and LDM. The cars look great as does the Erebus car
