I was at the open day today. Car looks great in person, although I may be biased. The white is a bit odd but it is a change from recent years. DVS cars lool very good too. Will get some photos up soon
 
The GRM Volvo's look great!

Yeah, definitely much more of a fan of the GRM DVS liveries than I am of their main one.

It just looks like something that I would expect to find in the Dunlop Series.

It's like they kept trying to change it, but were never quite happy with what they came up with.
 
They still have time to make revision due to fan feedback. Plus, not like they have to stick with that design for the whole year. If they choose to leave both cars as is, so be it.
 
I love the Volvo livery. It's a nice change from the now boring all blue that has been on the car the past two years. The design might be basic, but the colours and where they are, really make up for it.
 
I feel it's more professional. I like it. For those that don't like the look of it, GRM might switch things up during the year. Besides, I bet it does look better in person.

To me it's good like you say, professional and simple but stands out. I feel many cars are going that route the Caltex Holden, the DJR Falcon in your avatar, the team Holden cars all of them to me are stand out simple but refreshing. The only cars I feel dropped the ball so far are Nissan and Prodrive
 
The only thing I'd change on the Volvo would be making the Wilson Security logo fit inside the white section of the design. Other then that, I love it!

That's a lot better if I'm honest. The darker green and the black rims really make it. Still a simple design, but like the Volvo, the colours make it work.

So awesome, much better livery than when it was run with Reynolds in it. Does this mean no more Pepsi livery?

It's believed that they're leaving the sport entirely. Mostert will carry Supercheap Auto, and Waters will either be Monster Energy or Enzed (or both).

That sucks I actually enjoyed most of the Pepsi centered liveries.

Yikes....not feeling this one 👎 The overall scheme is ok, but I'm really not a fan of the hood (bonnet :P). The Castrol green doesn't fit at all with the rest of the car. If they had the darker green tied in elsewhere, it might be ok; but as is, it's just a big'ole dark green square. Can't say I like the wheels either. I think silver, or gold with chrome lip would look better.

If I'm totally honest, I much prefered it with the brighter green and green wheels. :lol: Black wheels are cool though, it'll probably grow on me.

It's almost like the livery was done without the Castrol logo, and then someone just stuck it on after the fact. Not sure what's going on with the shapes behind the front wheel either.

Such a shame, because I love green racecars (colour, not enviro crap!). Hopefully this grows on me, or recieves some mid season tweaks.
 
Black rims look good! Bonnet is a bit messy and I prefer the brighter green (although it might just be the lighting).

Castrol has been shoved on the front of their cars for years now, always with its own green square making the car look a bit uglier then it deserved to be.

Finally the Castrol logo isn't against any shade of blues. So, it works in my eyes.

Gold wheels were fine but, this looks old school. No hi-lites(not even the wheel lip). No jewelry. No frills. Looks the business.
 
I'm always a fan of black wheels. I think this is one of those liveries that will look much better on track.

Good looking car 👍 I can dig the black wheels on this.

And looking at the hood, it's even more obvious that the Castrol logo on Frosty's car was just plopped on with no regard for how it ties in with the rest of the design.
