That was pretty awesome racing!

Good stuff. Two positives there, Whincup didn't win and there's a car that's not a Holden on the podium for the first time this year. :p

...And Courtney doesn't "let" anyone pass. Something many drivers could learn from.

Awesome race.
So man team/sponsor changes, still trying to get my head around it.

First V8 Supercar race I've gotten to watch live on TV and oh my god, I nearly had a heart attack that last lap. Mad respect for these guys, much as I like Nascar, this is way more intense. You need big cahonies to do 180+mph every corner, but mad MAD skill to race that close and clean. What a great race that was.

What a great way to start the season!

It's a shame Pither won't be racing tomorrow though. Also don't understand how Blanchard thinks him running off into the back of Tander is GT's fault but that might have just been some red mist.

Hopefully Erebus progress throughout the year.

Saw race 2. man that was awesome!!

It's Adelaide. Most of their advertising focuses on hipster appeal and terrible covers of INXS songs. I'd say they have a monopoly on uncomfortable.

TCM would have to be a good series to enter if one couldn't get in Carrera Cup or V8s.

That's the series I'd throw money at before any other category in the country.
More horsepower than grip + classic old school looks =  👍

I know it's early days but I was expecting the Perana Capri to be further up towards the sharp end. 302 in a lightweight body should have performance similar to the Monza or Seton's Mustang.

Everyone talking about heat coming through the floor of the car, do the teams use or have access to this stuff?

I don't know how much development it's had. Might get better through the season.

Moffat blows a power steering line. Red flag.

And there were reports of a fire in Courtney's engine bay. Damnit! :nervous:

I haven't looked at the firewall of a V8SC. I do know T8 use cool air aimed at their drivers' feet.

What an awesome Top 10 so far.

3 Holdens in the top 10. Nice to see some variety up there for a change.

Those trucks are crazy but pretty cool.

Crap load of dirt in turn 9 that's screwed everyone except Courtney so far. They could have cleaned the track before starting this session...
