Not many laps to go. Lowndes needs to go right now.
Rick should have good tyres. He needs to step it up.

Edit: Rick is coming now.

The Future is coming.

Good job Frosty, and great job Scotty after a bad race for both of them yesterday. Great stuff the fighting keeps on going.

Inside Supercars. Warburton mentioned interest from Asian nations. I heard "Japan" in there. I would like to know more.

Only two things I want to see by the end of this season(maybe three): The Future win the Championship, a Nissan win Bathurst and DJRTP score a 1,2 while Penske is here.

Interesting what Betty is saying right now. She's waiting to see where COTF is going and when the engines catch up to her engines, then she'll bring them back out.

Given his recent track record when expressing confidence on these things, I think it's fairly safe to say that the series will race in Mongolia, Zimbabwe, São Tome and Príncípe, and Moldova before it races in Japan.

Ha! I'd like to know which Japan showed interest.
For some reason, I misread it as James Phelps, not James Warburton. Since it's Warburton, I am inclined to be less flippant than I was. I suspect that it might be driven by Nissan wanting to showcase their presence in an international category since Honda have a substantial presence in the WTCC, the BTCC and TCR, while the DTM-Super GT merger seems to be dead in the water.

I don't expect Nissan to leave, but I think if they do stick around they may try and expand to more teams.
When Cox was in, it was one of their future prospects to see Nissans and Holdens on the grid, if there were no other manufacturers.

Some may feel Fuji is too long for a 26 Supercars grid. I feel it is such a wide circuit, many lines for passing. If it were billed during a SuperGT or Nismo Fest event, it would be insane.

For Warburton to take 5 Supercars to KL last year, a trip to Japan would be even more fruitful. Nissan head office could get a feel first hand, what the series is about.

The problem with Fuji is that it's in the rainshadow of Mount Fuji, so you're almost guaranteed a wash-out.

For what it's worth, I think Sportsland SUGO would be a better fit. It's git plenty of high-speed sections, a greater variety of corners, and is of a more manageable length than Fuji. And it has none of the rain problems.

I find Tsukuba to be massively over-rated. Probably because it felt like every single championship in GT4 had a race there.

I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for Forza and GT probably. I reckon it would suit the V8s though. Suzuka would be good, although too long. Does any one rate Autopolis?

I think the middle section would just feel like a glorified go-kart circuit.

Suzuka would be good, although too long.
I suppose that the eastern circuit would be good. Although they could do one race on the eastern half and one on the west.

Does any one rate Autopolis?
I do. It has lots of corner variety and elevation changes, but it's really difficult to access (which is why it lost its bid to host a Grand Prix).

Sugo is pretty good with the fast sweeper onto the front straight.

I'd rule Motegi out.

Suzuka, I just don't know. The more I try to vision it, I keep seeing a train of 26 cars and no passing. It's why I see Fuji as a wide track for side by side racing lap after lap.
Then, I flip and wouldn't mind Singapore under lights. :D
