Whoops. Looks good for Frosty and Caruso.

Well, I hope the food is good for the 200 guests at DJRTP. Their race is crap.

Frosty needs to "fire it in".

Not enough laps for Frosty. Takes him 40 laps to make one pass for position.

Caruso could pass Frosty. He'll show afrosty how to pass. ;)

If Nissan doesn't stay in the series, they will be missed.

He just needs to stay close. Let Mostert by and go with him.

I'm sure other drivers dorm want T8 to win. Why not help one another to achieve that?

Well I guess since this is their home test track, this was bound to happen. Hopefully things even out a bit next round.

I think Caruso used up his tires trying to get past Whincup, but no complaints about P4. I think Todd got in there P9 or P10 as well.

Edit: This was great.

#WhincupLeadsLOL

I don't mind since he does drive a Holden, if it was Ford or (especially) Nissan than I would 🤬 (bias-ism at its worst).

One more race left before the Endurance Cup where I can finally start watching these races after Adelaide (I missed Townsville thinking today was the date :ouch:)

Nissan Motorsport just put up a live stream in Caruso's car as they are doing rides today and you could tell they were using a phone for it because the mid-corner g-forces would make the screen rotate.

How can the factory Holden team be this poorly funded that they are still using a chassis that was crashed in 2014? http://www.speedcafe.com/2016/07/27/hrt-parks-weird-tander-chassis/ I expect to read that kind of story about a club racing team instead a factory backed team.
But it's a winning chassis. After all it won last year's Enduro Cup :p

HRT need to face the truth that 888 build the best Commodores. You've only got to see how many Holden runners have their equipment.

I once followed a Triple Eight transporter up the M1 from Forster to Coffs Harbour. And I saw Colin McRae parked by the side of the road just outside Perth a few years ago - he was killing time before a passage control check-in.

A few years back I went to Clipsal, headed up to Sydney the next day, drove back to Adelaide a week later where I happened to spot a DJR truck at a service station in Goulburn making their way back from their HQ and on the way to Melbourne for the Australian GP. It's incredible how quickly they get around.

In 2014 when I went to the Gold Coast races, we stayed in a hotel about 200-300 metres from the hairpin. All of the trucks were parked just a couple of blocks away from us and on the Sunday, when the all left, they all left in a parade with lots of horn honking, was pretty entertaining from our balcony.

I don't find it so far fetched, I mean hell Marquez is currently riding a 2014 chassis bike in Moto GP and those teams have way more money in them than V8s. It could be a better chassis then current ones or some other reason. I don't feel it automatically becomes a matter of money.

I did that after the Pocono 500 in 2007. It was cool leaving the parking area behind and alongside the race trailers as they were heading to the freeway. Took us almost 3 hours to get from our parking spot on the grass near the track, to the freeway.

When I drove down to Melbourne for the 2011 AGP, I saw Jason Richards' car on a box trailer just inside of the Winton exit.

Then, in 2012, driving down again to the AGP, saw the promo Falcons for SBR(SP TOOLS, IRWIN) on the freeway just outside of Melbourne.

So, am I the only one confused why they would take a month break before Sydney which is a regular event before starting the enduro's? Wouldn't it make more sense to do Sydney 2 weeks after the Ipswich rounds, take the month break, and then run the enduro's?

That would make perfect sense to most people but, unfortunately, common sense obviously isn't a prerequisite at Supercars HQ.

Why do that when they could market MARC cars or WTCC cars? Since they bill F4, might as well do something with F3 if they are allowed.

Spending money to build an open wheel series would not be prudent right now.
