On the bright side, they're still working on the GT3 side at least. It would probably be better that way anyway. Get GT3 efforts here in IMSA first and go from there depending on interest. Plus they'll get an extra year of engine development to see how viable the V8 will be for prototype use based upon how the GT3 car responds to the tracks on schedule.

This V8 has been in use for several years you know (like 2011 or something). :p But I guess North American endurance mileage would be good before stuffing it into a Multimatic.

P looks interesting based off of this practice results. GTLM looks a little more balanced, but the Porsches and Ferraris still need a little help. Hard to tell if Vettes got OP at this point since one car 3 has a lap about .8 quicker than car 4 but the adjustments certainly gave them more speed.

The Porsches are helpless with their current pace. Corvette got one car ahead of the turbo Fords and BMWs for a well-deserved pole.

It would be interesting to see a chart or something with the size of restrictor in comparison to horsepower.

This an engine of a completely different size and larger gaps with restrictors. I guess it's better than nothing. You could also check in Project Cars for example to see the changes.

I think the Corvette also had an air/fuel ratio change and a weight break for IMSA.

Porsche still uncompetitive. 1 second off pole time at Mosport is a joke.
The car is lighter than it has been all year and it still cant compete it might be time to look at the car and the drivers and wonder what the problem is.

6.2lbs lighter. Big difference there.

That weight reduction is worth nothing.
