And yet the second slowest car is now the fastest.

That got a weight reduction and a significant increase to power. That's probably just the drivers though... and not the BOP...
I thought 10 kg made no difference? BTW 10kg=22 lbs not 6.2 lbs. The new aero rules have hurt the 911 the most and unless you expect the rest of the field to pull over and wait for them to catch up they will just have to do a rain dance or hope for track temps around 130 deg to take advantage of the rear weight bias.

The 911 is 20kg lighter than every GT car in the field-GTLM or GTD and has a 1mm larger restrictor than the Corvette and yet the BOP is the issue, yeah OK.

The Porsche also has the smallest engine in the field, so having 1mm larger restrictor than the largest engine in the field means absolutely nothing. If BOP isn't including aero adjustments, then the BOP is failing.

Saw a few Ford fans on Twitter complaining about the Corvettes now, unreal.
*directed at those fans* :mischievous:

Nice to have a Corvette leading again. :sly:

What happened to the Deltawing. 3.9 seconds off the pace? Did it just have a bad lap or does it not have the speed to keep up?

When I was watching, it seemed like Legge only went out for one or two laps. Don't know why, though.

Hindhaugh thinks Porsche's struggles could potentially be due to a tire imbalance from using an old car with a new tire package.

I'm still not sure how the two AXR DPs and the 55 Mazda didn't crash on the outlap when they went 3 wide.

That's why I always have the IMSA Radio feed on at thee same time I watch the Fox stream. I can keep up to date on stuff I'd otherwise miss because Fox turns IMSA into the IMSA Commercial Break Series.

FTFY

#44 and #0 messed up. :odd:

Stupid Ford. :banghead: But at least it was a much better race in GTLM, minus the beetle (which needs more than BoP at this point).

The only thing that will fix this beetle are rocket boosters or machine guns mounted on the hood. The car has crap aero and the tires didnt last and dont work on this new spec.

Still disappointed that Corvette couldn't get it done in GTLM, but at least it's a lot more balanced, compared to the last couple races. Hopefully it can stay competitive like this, because that's when it's the best. Not when a single car dominates over the rest of the field. Bring on Lime Rock. 👍

It's really a lame duck season for them, just gotta wait on the new car sadly and get some band aids for this one in the meantime.

Funny that they make a nod to the NHRA coverage. That is so bad that it makes the IMSA coverage look good- and we all know the IMSA coverage is terrible.
How can it possibly be worse than IMSA coverage? :scared:
