If that was a one off, cool atmosphere and nice intro. If that is what the norm is trying to be, please no. That was not what F1 is. That wasted all that time where we get to hear from drivers and understand the mindset of them going into the race. You know, stuff we care about. Not cheerleaders and bemused looking drivers...
 
Just heard its going to get even more American as they are going to start the race by shooting the cars out of a giant cannon!
 
They got Kimi to smile in the walk-on video. That's a plus.

I think the only way you could make that better is by having the drivers do a face-off on stage after their walk on.

Some light scuffling and fisticuffs should improve the show considerably.
 
For the next US Grand Prix, can we strap F-18 engines to the cars?

I was hoping for a #VeganKnee but alas.
 
I'm sure all the drivers were well impressed with all that mucking about while they were trying to get their heads into race mode .
