Hope Scott & Rick can keep that pace for qualifying.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. It's pretty hard to read, but I guess you can't really confuse it with anyone else.

The Nissan's are looking real planted down to the road. I think they might be in for a good weekend along with the 888 and DJRTP guys.

Funny how the rules allow Coupe's now but everyone potentially interested in joining is bringing a Sedan.

Scott M in that falcon looks so smooth
He does. I've never seen it driven like this. Even when Mostert got all those Armor All PP.
I'm as surprised as Ingall.

Edit: R.Kelly!!

Good stuff for the Shootout.

Hey, Simona was only 1.2 off. Not bad.

I'd much rather Riana, Kate Peck is so fake and so irritating.
 Jeez! That's saying something if you'd prefer the Cretan.

I think that's purely down to the potential coupe manufacturer not wanting to see their sporty offering beaten by a family sedan.

If they all agreed to do the coupe thing, coupes as far as the eye could see. Well, twenty-something anyway.

Rick's got some speed. Just need to get the others up there.

But damn, .0001 between the top two.

Good read by Giz mentioning the #17 "looks" like RB cars from behind. I'll take it.

S2 is still a bit wild, but I knew the Altimas would be good. Lebrocq and Davies moving up.

LeBrocq 3rd
Davies 5th

Dumbrell had it easy this one. Tomorrow we'll see.

Matt Chahda did a really good job in that race.

A good job of proving why he shouldn't be in Supercars. Who can't pass a slow-moving car that's getting out of the way without tripping over it?

What if Rick actually WINS a race? That would be something.

Cams should be banging their heads they even let him back in S2. Then again, they'd only hear echos between their ears.

He serves a purpose in S2 - passing him is good practice for talented drivers who need experience passing unpredictable backmarkers. If you can pass Chahda cleanly in Super2, you can pass Wood in Supercars.

Still gotta keep saying that I believe if Supercars want more manufacturers (which they may very well need depending on how the future goes), they need to revisit their stance on parity and BOP. The risks in entering as a new make and stuffing things up royally are just too high at the moment.

And I'd love to see Alfa Romeo back. Trivia time:

Alfa Romeo is the 6th of 11 manufacturers to win an individual race in the ATCC. Who are the other 10 makes? And for the bonus points, what was the race won by Alfa Romeo, who was driving and what model was it?

So, the Supercars drinking game. Take a drink every time:
- Simona de Silvestro is mentioned.
- Neil Crompton says "this location".

Jaguar at Gnoo Blas 1960
Ford at Lakeside 1964
Holden at Surfers Paradise 1969
Porsche at Warwick Farm 1970
Chevrolet at Sandown 1971
Mazda at Lakeside 1982
Nissan at Lakeside in 1984
BMW at Winton 1985
Volvo at Symmons Plains 1985

That's all I've got. I couldn't find a single Alfa Romeo outright win in ATCC history.

Ford, Holden, Nissan, Mercedes, Volvo, Chevrolet, Toyota, Jaguar, BMW, Mazda?
Just off the top of my head.
I didn't really account for the fact that Bathurst wasn't always part of the ATCC either.

Edit: Are you referring to the ATCC as only when it was actually called that, or all incarnations of it?

Had to have been the Milano by Colin Bond. I don't think the yellow GTV6 won. Unless I'm wrong. I can't peg a race the Milano would have won.
