Well that was a disappointing race.
 
Usually old asphalt puts on the best races with drivers sliding around. But in this case, I'd almost be for a repave just to get a reprieve from Harvick's dang domination. Nothing against him, it just gets boring watching the same driver destroy everyone every time they go to a certain place.

I know, but it doesn't make it any less boring. :lol: Anyway, it is crazy to think that he hadn't won there since his maiden win in 2001 (can't believe that was 17 years ago...where has time gone?).
 
So is no one gonna talk about how good the truck race on Friday was?

In other - and far less foul - news, Jimmie Johnson's car chief was ejected pre-race. Didn't read the article so I don't know the reason.

Jimmie's car failed pre-race inspection 3 times.
 
Kurt Busch and Chase Elliott just got tangled up.

Tinfoil hat hot take: I’d like to know why Harvick’s car has a huge dent on the left side middle. Didn’t see him get into anyone today.

ETA pics. Looks like a jack handle slammed it in. Intentional?

Phoenix has long been known as maybe Harvick's best track. On the other hand, he's never won 3 in a row. The 42 year little bantam cock just doesn't wanna roll over and play dead for the coming young men. :lol:

If it has the effect of accelerating air out the left side rear wheel well opening, then yes. :D
 
The only good thing about the Vegas race? I was able to fast foward through most of it on my DVR.
 
So Matt DiBenedetto and GoFas Racing don't have sponsorship for this weekend race at ISM Raceway. Matt posted a tweet about it on twitter, asking fans if they could help out. Then Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, and Darrel Waltrip (Probably more but this is all I've seen on my twitter feed so far) went and donated $5000 each to help him and his team out. Pretty cool.
