Should be noted on the Speedcafe article about Bamber joining Red Bull. Roland Dane is quoted as saying that they're looking at trying to get Matt Campbell in the V6TT wildcard entry for Bathurst.

Yeah, yeah, I know tis is a GT car video, but can't help thinking Nissan plant that GT500 650hp 4-cylinder, in the Altima and call it a day.

Hey, it's reliability has been proven in Super GT so I think it would be a great idea. In fact, the Altima would handle better with less weight over the front axle. Maybe then they can be at the front of the field!

I know the Altima road car comes with a 4-cylinder, but rebadge it Bluebird for the series.
 
I think I'm going to leave the Supercars website alone. Ever since the pit lane snafu, comments have been shut down(still haven't read anything about the outcome- gag order?). They appear to be a bit salty. Besides, Speedcafe and FoxSports sometimes report on Supercars activities before the official site.

Their website is pretty bad in general. Navigating it on a smartphone is way too hard. Just to find out when a session begins, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom, and it’ll only give you a count down to the next session otherwise you have to click another link just to find out when what you’re looking for begins, and it’s only shows the local time.

I only go there for SuperView, so when in Chrome all I have to do is start to type "super..." into the address bar and it automatically brings up "supercars.com/superview". Where I need to go with one click. :p
 
I only go on the site for the Leaderboard, as that is usually decent in updating the scores. Especially since Wikipedia updates for it have taken a nosedive in speed recently, last year it was 30 minutes after the race to go on Wikipedia and see the standings, now it's 1 - 2 days :lol:

Is that why the comments have disappeared? I was wondering what happened. I'll occasionally check the Supercars site for news but I mainly use it for live timing during quali sessions and the races.

Yeah, the hate was real. Speedcafe had like 500+ comments from people that couldn't comment on Supercars.com.

Although im hoping, I’m not expecting any major improvement next year, maybe 1-2 wins.
 
Competition is fierce. Especially with Erebus stepping it up. Heimgartner and Percat will be on my radar and that's before adding the "new" Fords. However, Pye improved from the last quarter of the season. Guess it'll depend on the comfort level of drivers in the ZB. However, the ZB looks similar to the S60. So, maybe the aero handling will be good off the truck.

Same. Just hoping that their cars will be a more consistent. If either Pye or Courtney can finish inside the top ten of the Championship, I'd consider that to be win.

Never made sense to me having Golding not run DVS last year. I know he ran the wildcard races but still. I think he was originally planned to drive main game last before Tander was hired, and in the meantime before Tander, Barbera and Muscat we’re both given the DVS drives, leaving Golding with nowhere once Tander came along.

Stanaway, easy. Followed by Golding and Hazelwood, as they've got the next best equipment. Maybe De Pasquale as well.

Great to see the Tickford name back on the grid. It's a shame their logo is awful, it looks like it should be the Gold Coast Titans logo.
