The Tickford debrief after the race should be, er, interesting.
 
Seems I'm the only one that caught the fact that Chaz actually hit the wall on the left side which knocked him into the other car.

It just now cleared up on my 55" tv. But for the longest time I couldn't read the scoring pylon on the left of the screen because it was so fuzzy.

Me either, I saw and heard it in the first replay pretty clearly. Which says to me he was trying to get by and give as much space as he could and just went too far left in the process.
 
That looked a bit awkward, like Chaz wasn’t sure if he was being let past or not.

I think that's pretty much how it played out. Still sucks though. Also did you hear the f bomb dropped by the Monster Energy crew when the car came in... :lol:
 
#2 runs off the road and the #25's engine gives up the ghost. Damn it all to hell.
 
Looks good for Mostert and Coulthard. Simona did good to get Rullo up some spots.

What a few accident if those tyres and fence weren't there. A road car in the background, was right at the moment that tyre would ha e made contact.

Run out of fuel? Done.
Crash out two other cars exiting the Chase? Check.
Lose a wheel? BINGO!

It's a scary thought to think where that wheel would've ended up had that happened into The Chase :scared:

I'm expecting a full investigation into the matter, not only by T8 which is a given, but by Supercars as well.
