As a McLaren fan.... am I crazy thinking that after the BoP change the old F1 is now “the” McLaren Gr3 to pick? Any opinions?

It’s not, the old Macca doesn’t have enough down force, it can’t keep up on most tracks.
And weak brakes due to the excessive weight PB punished it with to keep it in Gr 3...

Well...that's not good to hear. I was considering McLaren and picking the F1 for Gr. 3 for the upcoming season over the 650S. (I'm biased towards 90's supercars) But we'll see what the tracks are. If there are enough high speed courses, I think it could be viable. I also saw someone use it in the DT Gardens Gr. 3 race last season, and they finished pretty high up.

Tough choosing for this next one. I'm not even thinking BOP wise. Just choosing my usual suspects:

Mustangs, RC Fs, RX-V, M4.
Honorable mentions are Genesis and Gr.4 C7.

It's why I still would like to see separate Gr.4 & Gr.3 championships.

I'm torn between Toyota and Chevy for my first go at this. If I was more consistent with the RX V I'd go Mazda, but some laps are great, and then I just can't recapture the magic.

Dang. Didn't realise my post was #1970 and your post is #1971- My birth year. ;)
Technically it'd be post number 26,918, which I'd hope isn't anyone's birth year. Though it could be for someone born on 26th September 1918 (or 2018, but they wouldn't be allowed to join).

Late 80's children ARE young. Perspective is everything. When I retired from the Army in 2016, I was 42, and the old guy. When I got my first civvie job I was the young buck 2 months later.:p
Relatively. Stopped feeling 'young' when I turned 30. Doesn't mean I feel old. ;)

You only get the points from the last slot you play regardless of what you do in the others, so you'll only want to play multiple slots if you are unhappy with your result in an earlier one and willing to risk losing it in exchange for a possible better one.

Aren’t you high 70ks? That’s pointy end.

DR is transient, it doesn't really tell you about someone's ability to win races when it matters... which is something I am still working on

Each round has four time slots, is there any reason not to race as many as possible?
Thanks in advance.

You only keep the result from the last time slot you enter, so you need to judge risk vs reward before entering again.

At least we won't have those pesky Kiwis in the later slots...

I am so thankful I’m only an hour behind Japan. XD

That being said, the Aussies will still be squaring off against the Kiwis in Nations Cup, since Nations is still divided into the existing 5 regions instead of Manufacturers’ 3.
